@milzed71 I didn't use a special software. I created the 16 different images and then put them in a gif animator programm and exported it in avi, then I made a loop with the video editor, faded the colors, added music and exported it in vmw before I uploaded it here.
Hi There, I design educational projects for Boxford Ltd In the UK, would it be possible to get hold of a set of DXF's for these gears or better still the software that produces them. Many Thanks in advance. My company email is GSMITH@boxford.co.uk
@forbinone Hi, I made them using "Gear Template Generator". I made screencaps of 20, 18, 12 and 10 teets gears, and then I cut and assembled them in paint.
@ehallstr ...I made all the 36 images, "copy past rotate" each gear one by one and then put it in a gif animator programm and converted it to vidéo (it tooks 2 hours - I'm not going to do another one this week)

That's an excellently designed mechanism and great walker too!
Theo has made some of his Strandbeest models available in 3D printed nylon via Shapeways see shapeways . com / shops / theojansen
Do you mind if I copy the design for use with LEGO components?
I'm thinking incorporating as set of these gears into NXT or Power Functions models could make a 'steerable' walker.

@stop4stuff You can copy the design (I show it on purpose).
I'll be happy to get a set of lego-compatible gears to make more experiments (and I think I'm not the only one).

GiovanniSalaChannel 1 year ago
@GiovanniSalaChannel
It's from the original soundtrack of the japanese TV drama
"Kui-tan"
VPCD-81564
remixed by Konishi Yasuharu.
The original recording is probably :
BACH, J.S.: Piano Concertos, Vol. 2 (BWV 1055-1058)
