  • I preferred brain games over action games, so bought a floppy drive early on ($299!) and bought U.S. imports (I was in the UK) at $50 a pop! I still have my C64 and floppy, and still have my Acrojet, Elite and F-15 Flight Eagle, which was the closest I came to "action"! Much preferred Wargames, like Decision in the Desert and Conflict in Vietnam,or Infocom and Telarium adventure games! I liked the odd Sentry and Little Computer People, but my true love was RPG's like Ultima 1 etc!

  • Aah, Spy Hunter and Super Pipeline were among my favorite c64 games.

  • I like this video very much, I got my C64 in 1986, so I didn't play a lot of these games, and I only knew them by fame. They're not that impressive compared to titles from the 90s, but they show a lot of skill from the programmers. Many of them are still seen as milstones!

  • Great stuff!!!

  • Many great games, you should do a videos of your Amiga and C64 collection where you show pictures(or really small gameplay) of each. There was many great Nintendo games on c64 like Donkey kong and Mario bros. Also Bandits game reminds me of Space invaders

  • @Lemmy556 Thanks for commenting.

Nice idea to do a "teaser" video for my uploads. Many of my videos are played with different resolutions and compressed with different codecs so it would be a little bit too much trouble though and I don't think I'll be replaying any of those games unless I get motivated in completing one. All of my c64 and Amiga videos can be found in the playlists available through my channel.

  • @einokeino303 There are several Space Invader type of games released for arcade such as Galaxian and Terra Cresta which were later converted for home computers. Bandits is a c64 original title though and it adds some features to the original concept.

  • Old-Schooooooooooooooooooooooooooool!

  • Nice compendium.

  • Yeah, Buck Rogers, Wizard Of Wor, Pit Stop... parts of my childhood. Sadly, I didn't have original Donkey kong, but two absolutely terrible clones. I played them some times ago and still don't understand how could I play this load of crap... :P
