i know both languages perfectly and watch almost every show in english but HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER for some reason is way better dubed in spanish then watching it original so i recomand it in spanish if you know spanish.. same goes for the movie the Emperers New Groove

@IdaRobler Subtitles destroy my brain. I'd rather watch it in English OR Spanish, without subtitles. Subtitles usually shorten up the dialogue and/or change the words around, so you hear and read different things and you can get easily confused.

I guess subs are alright if you don't understand the original language at all... But, if you do, they're no good.

@Owneador1337 I prefer it on the original language if that's possible, and if not then it should be subbed. subs makes you get what's happening, and then you can (no mather what language) listen to determine the feeling etc of the caracters. And dubs... the voice actors who dub films somehow just doesn't get the... thing xD (okay, that was a very bad explanation... somehow my english has gotten worse the last 2 years...)

@IdaRobler That's not always true. Spanish dubs have been acclaimed by the critic and are known to be the best out there. And yes, the dub is better than the original at times. One of the most amazing examples is in the movie "Seven". In the last scene, Brad Pitt starts screaming in rage and he just sounds like a god damn baby; and the dub was really well done and convincing.

first one: good voice actors indeed, but leonidas is making big motions with his moth, wich makes the dub bad.

the other one: some bad lipmatching, but most impotant, it sounds like the alp scen in help!... you can't hear the different between close and far away.

@IdaRobler Yep, that's the thing. All voices sound quite strong, but that's the same when they dub OUR movies into other countries. Once you grow accustomed to "strong voices", it actually sounds quite un-epic to hear them straight from the actors in the movie.
