Couldn't agree more! This jack assed "Bubba" has, as usual, managed to discrace himself, and now he's taken the legacy of the Office of the President shit on that too! If I'm wrong.....okay! Name another former President that went on the campaign trail and openly bashed a member of his own party? I'm not talking about Convention speeches. Bubba was active and consistantly attacking a member of his own party.
I like alot of your views! Very interesting and they have a deep rooted truth to them! POPS,
P.S. My channel is valga and deprived, you'd never think I enjoyed politics or was even intellegent enough to understand politics, but I do! To a certain point!
Thank you for making this video explaining the read-between-the-lines of Bill Clinton's remarks about Obama vs Hilary in regards to South Carolina. I heard a lot of buzz about Bill Clinton's 'rude and racist' remarks but when I seen the original video of these remarks I honestly didn't understand the meaning behind them or why he brought up Jesse Jackson--so once again, thanks for making this video.
Interesting outcome last night... HC did well here in CA, but BO stayed real close in the race nationwide. I still filled in the arrow next to Dennis Kucinich's name although I knew he already dropped out. That's my idea of a protest vote!
As one who has cast more protest votes than effective ones, I certainly understand where you're coming from. For me, though, it actually felt good to cast a serious vote for a change.
I dig Hillary, but Obama Girl is just changing my mind...I don't know why, man! It is an interesting, historically momentous time with both a black candidate and a female. Perhaps there could be a happy medium. Michael Jackson should jump in with both feet--provided they are real.
Michael Jackson? I don't know. We don't need any more sex scandals or wondering who's sleeping in the Lincoln bedroom, and whether or not they're underage.
How would you like to wake up every morning to Hil's whiney bitching. Here's an idea, you could be her press secretary! I can hear it now, "Kenrg! Fix my image!" Then you'd have to rub her toes..
Did Bill make the comment before or after he fell asleep at a service? He might have forgotten to drink his Red Bull before he spoke, or maybe he drank too much Red Bull...man this comment is starting to sound like a plug or product placement for Red Bull...(sigh) All I know is, I had secretly wished Fred Thompson into office (I just wanted to hear the Law & Order opening theme whenever he would make an appearance...)
The Law and Order theme does rock, but luckily, with cable TV, it's always on, so we don't need it replacing "Hail to the Chief." Thanks for stopping by!
the last I remeber of American politics is George Bush snr saying in 1989 (I think) "read my lips, no news taxes" and didn't he then bring in some new taxes? And I think George Bush guy is still in charge now isn't he?
It's the Junior Bush in now, but that's about it, just put old Big Bill in between the two bushes... Well... Put Bill between two bushes and he's right at home.
OK first let me say HOT DAMMM!! You blog and nary an edit do I see. Secondly, damm straight it should be about race and gender but Hilary is so afraid she is going to lose she and her flunkie hubby inject as much garbage as they can to attempt to hurt Obama's chances. But we all know what happens we people can only attack and cannot stand on their own w/o doing so. Great vblog Ken.
For my real feelings on Bill Clinton we'll need a couple of hours and a lot to drink. But some day, my friend, some day...
John Lovitz, however, I can give an unqualified approval of. Did I ever tell you that John Lovitz is my cousin-er-no, brother, yeah, he's my brother! That's the ticket!
A couple of hours and a lot to drink sounds perfect to me! I love political discussions like that! If i ever get to your side of the country, we'll plan it!
There have been a few amusing ads there. McCain, eh? Well, I'm happy to waste his money. I'll get to a vlog talking about the Republican choices soon... We'll see if McCain still places ads on my pages after that!
Well, some of the tactics of some of the candidates certainly seem like they came out of a high school campaign. And it's still a loooong way to November...
Okay, seriously, you bring up an important point. That anyone's ability to hold office or perform a job should be based on color of skin or gender is just nuts to me.
On a side note, I got to hear Geraldine Ferraro speak at the junior college I was attending back in 1993. And, no, I didn't get a lousy T-shirt.
Ferraro was a heck of a character, but she's all but forgotten today. Just a footnote in the history books, which is kind of sad.
Next Tuesday, I'll be voting for the candidate who has inspired me and given me hope more than any other candidate in decades, without regard for color or gender, and that candidate is Barack Obama.
I have been following presidential politics for a long time. My first memory of how much impact this had on people's lives was from the back seat of our family car. A radio bulletin announced the death of Franklin Roosevelt, and my mother began to cry. That said: this is one of the strangest political seasons I can remember. Prediction -- I don't think we will have any more close elections.
No more close elections? Possibly. I'm just hoping that it's not no more elections, period. This is an odd political season, and it's only going to be getting odder.
I've heard & think that it might be true that Bill was the first Black President. Whatever. I thnk that this is an extremely interesting race & whoever wins should win by the popular vote. He or she should reflect the true majority of the people. And My God you look good for 70. - take care Wylie
Bill told me he was black too! I was like "Um..yeah Bill, I kinda already knew."
-If I'd stopped there I would of had 420 remaining character count. Why do I feel this feature is as good as the invention of the female condom 500 years after the male condom?
I just like to type and watch the numbers go down and down and down... but I fear going too far, lest I get into the negative numbers and wind up owing YouTube for character overages, just like with the cell phone company... (273 to go, ooops, not 254, no 240)
The Clinton "Machine" has spent years carefully putting all the pieces in place for what was assumed to be a cakewalk election. Then from almost out of nowhere comes Obama, and he's thrown a huge f'ing wrench in the works...sadly, I fear, this is just going to get uglier.
I certainly am in no position to tell anybody their own politics, butt...it does seem imperative to keep another neo-con out of the WhtHse so we can heal this battered, misaligned nation.
It's almost as if...we all were suffering from the Shock Doctrine.
Of the Green's running for the nomination, I prefer Cynthia McKinney, but I'm not wild about her. Yes, Ralph Nader is on the ballot, but he's hardly "running" and he has still not actually joined the Green party. If they nominate him again (which they will) I will not be voting for him this time. (I'm a currently independent, former Democrat and former Green.)
Excellent video, Ken. It's all such a weird game now. My real concern is that we are all just pawns and that none of our votes count...at all. I'm very disenchanted with our voting system...can you tell?
You're only disenchanted because you're paying attention. Stop that now! Just press the button like they tell you and trust that it's actually connected to something.
what the hell? for the first time i vote demecratic. obama has my vote. and as long as hillery cant make up her mind in the election that shows me she cant do it once in office. although i dont agree with the atacking others going on. still obama is the president for me. and im a indapendent. i dont agree with everything but in the end obama is my choice for presiedent. hes more then just some catigory of race. i vote obama 08. peace. gregg

Obama is the first major party candidates that's gotten me excited about a primary in a couple of decades. Usually, I'm in the same position you're talking about.
I don't know what to believe anymore... Honestly I think it would just be easier to move to Canada... or better yet, Australia. That seems out of the way enough. Oh, and Ken, I couldn't have said it better myself.
Move to Australia, where our two parties both promise much more than they can provide, and in fact never live up to anything (mostly) they say in the election campaigns, with both sides sniping each other on trivial issues that ultimately neither will fully address post-election.
It's oh-so-much better than the American political system, eh? :)
Well, some examples include interest rates skyrocketing, public health getting even worse.. well, there's loads of stuff, but anyway, they tend to do *alright* as a general rule.

Thanks for saying what I think about the "Female" vs. the "Black" candidate... Does it strike you as peculiar that the party, which claims to be blind to all matters of race, color creed sex etc, uses these issues to try to win the battle? If it weren't funny it would be nauseating...
It doesn't surprise me at all that as the battle has drawn closer that the Clinton's have dug down that deep. I have a particular love-hate relationship with Bill; there's much to admire and he's fascinating as hell, but also deeply flawed and so desperate to win that he'll break his most deeply held opinions to come out on top.
All Bill Clinton is doing now by trying to salvage what's remaining of his predetermined doomed plan, is killing what's left of any warm fuzzy feeling some people may have had for him. She should have been satisfied that she pulled off being elected a senator to a powerful Yankee state, become good at entrenching herself in the machine and stfu.
Awesome vlog you "rude prick". To give you an example of how intellectual and goofy I was as a kid. I dressed as Michael Dukakis for Halloween. Only 10% of the people knew who the fuck I was. At that moment I learned how stupid we Americans really are. Gatta go - American Gladiators is on.
You want to be sure we're not important in the process? Obama is ahead in convention delegates based on primary wins, but Hilary still has a larger lead thanks to "super delegates." God, I love democracy!
I think the US needs to have an independent country (maybe Switzerland?) to manage the elections. All this is a pure waste of time. "They" already know who the next president will be. Voting in America is a waste of fucking time! Pardon my French...
Well that's exactly what's got Bill so pissed off; voters are mucking around with his predetermined outcome! And you can speak French in my comments section whenever you like.
Even as he left office there was still a lot of love for him, and I feel it's actually grown since then as we've put up with W. But all that good will that he's built up as "elder statesman" is quickly evaporating in this campaign.
Couldn't agree more! This jack assed "Bubba" has, as usual, managed to discrace himself, and now he's taken the legacy of the Office of the President shit on that too! If I'm wrong.....okay!

You don't still have that Dukakis costume, do you? If so, maybe we can do some collabs during the campaign...

I'm beginning to wonder if we have any say in any of this any way! We are in BIG trouble...I can just feel it! Something wicked this way comes...

Pardon my French...
rextangle 4 years ago
Well that's exactly what's got Bill so pissed off; voters are mucking around with his predetermined outcome! And you can speak French in my comments section whenever you like.

D'accord, comme ça le reste des Yankees ne vont rien comprendre à ce que je dis! Si tu parles Swahili, ce serait encore mieux. Là, je te guarantie que personne ne comprendra! MDR (LOL)
rextangle 4 years ago
Swahili is very popular on YT. More popular than French, I bet.
kenrg 4 years ago
Je ne pense pas, mais on sait jamais. Maintenant il faut que tu me repondes en français aussi Ken. Sinon je vais pleurer!
rextangle 4 years ago
Nous ne pouvons pas vous faire pleurer - Ce ne serait pas viril!
kenrg 4 years ago
Ok, on peut se tutoyer? Utiliser "vous" ce n'est pas viril non plus! Je suis plus poilu qu'une armée de Turcs, donc je suis sur de ma virilité meme quand je pleure! ;-)

ken, are there any americans that still like bill clinton? as a canadian, i don't know how to take all the negativity against him now.
bohogirl1 4 years ago
Even as he left office there was still a lot of love for him, and I feel it's actually grown since then as we've put up with W. But all that good will that he's built up as "elder statesman" is quickly evaporating in this campaign.
kenrg 4 years ago
I wish that were true- but the Clinton's loosing their charm? Never.
You are right, the more arrogant they talk-
still, it is up to the people to notice and care... I would love Obama to be the one to defeat them- someone within the party...
Sabrnig 4 years ago
I'll be voting for Obama next week, but I'm not certain that the Clinton machine will be giving up that easily.
kenrg 4 years ago
Not after winning Florida!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!

Bill Clinton knows what he's doing...
whether is helps Hillary's run is still
yet to be determined, but he IS aware of what he's doing...

Oh, yeah. He's the master of the political arts (for better or for worse).
