  • Cool Vid, i like it, thumbs up!!

  • this is very useful, the tutorial was easy and quick to follow along with, thank you for creating this!

  • is the website you show could download permanently and not 30 days trial?

  • nice program but too expensive to buy

  • I downloaded rhino 5 minutes ago, now I'm a creator. Thanks a lot.

  • In fact there is an automatic way of 3D modeling (or reconstruction in fact)... If you have several photos of an object (vase, sculpture, etc.) from different positions it is possible to use PhotoScan (agisoft.ru/products/photoscan/). You have to add photos, run align step, build model step and build texture step. And you get the result 3D model. =)

  • L......O......L

  • taking a class wer i use rhino. Really not that hard. i have made some very cool things. A hammer, screwdriver, phone, snowglobe, even a toilet plunger very cool. Now i wwant to learn how to animate 3d objects

  • Thanks so much! I'm just a beginner, your video leads me know how to use it~!

  • u know if you right click on prespective you can render the image without haveing to open a new window every time

  • thank you, simple lecture that doesnt scare off people from learning

  • nice !!!

  • you can hack to download without paying any

  • This was very helpful thank you. I wanted to create a bowl shape and managed it fine :)

  • i have tried doing dis but the 3d part only comes half so its like i have drawn half of a cup i dont no wot is wrong help

  • @dropthetate Check the revolve angle. It's possible you're only revolving your line 180 degrees instead of 360.

  • does this work with mac? and if i were to make a face how would i make the figure multi coloured?

  • @TRANSFORM2ME it should work on macs. For the different colors, i suggest using a lot of layers and rendering.

  • @TRANSFORM2ME No, Rhino does not work with mac. If you want to use Rhino on a mac you must first run Windows using something like bootcamp. They are working on a mac version but it is currently still just in development.

  • thankyou !!!! I enjoy ur tutorial so much~~it's very easy to follow!!

  • Why is it that every video I try to watch about Modeling in "Rhino 3D" I get a nice message saying "We're sorry, this video is no longer available" can anybody help me please

  • Try pressing refresh. Two months later are you still having the problem?

  • mate when i export a point file from rhino it was not perfect it vertex mismatches what should i do. Can you help me

  • Any ideas on how to make it look like there's water inside of the goblet when it's transparent?

  • @BhangraCritic use the rebuild tool to make a lot of control points on your model, then move them around to make it look like the water was moving.

  • i cant figure out how to use this program at all any quick tips for a a rhino noob?

  • combine MoI with rhino. MoI is very user friendly that works like rhino but has a fewer icons but very flexible. MoI doesn't have any plug-in renderer but you can open the model inside rhino or you can export it to Blender and render with blendigo.

  • just keep looking at tutorials dude.

  • @rockmanzerox2003 tutorials, and stray away from using a lot of toolbars. Everything you need is under curve, solid, transform, surface, and edit.

  • im studying industrial design, im learning by myself how to use rhino, at my school they began to teach until 5th and im 3th... =(

    Nice work!

I ll visit your other tutorials!!

    =)

  • Excuse me, i try doing what you're doing when you revolve your initial drawing but the box doesn't appear for me, what can i do?

  • Nice work, for those individuals that do not want expensive software or a limited demo-version may i suggest to look at free Equinox3D, it can create a vase in very similar way. No doubt Professionals should stay with Rhino 3D because it has a lot more features.

  • omg super cool lecture!!

  • Thank you very much. :)

  • what capture program do you use

    thanks

  • I use Camtasia Studio.

  • thanks

  • @freetutorials lol begging is alt-tab >) i use that a lot

  • where do you get all that textures?

  • Well, I bought some of the cheap (under $10) photo discs, I downloaded free textures from the web (and started categorizing them in the beginning), and I carry my digital camera with me just about everywhere. If I see a cool texture (a fence, grass, pebbles, etc.) I take a picture and add to my collection.

  • doesn't exist any website where i could find them?

  • Yes, do a search in Google for:

    free textures

  • WooW! hey does this may work to do some king of video games.. please let me know because I like computers and I like what you just did, and video game. tnks!

  • cool..

  • id like to know how to make a more complex shape, go to the rhino site and go to tutorials then scroll down until you find the helmet, please explain this, and how does the loft tool work?

  • Very nice tut.

    Thanks for sharing your knowledge!

  • ty u , u realy helped me

  • Glad to hear it! Let me know if you need anything more.

  • You make 3D graphic rendering look so easy. I've had enough trouble just getting a cube to rest on top of another cube without angling it funny.

  • It takes practice but once you learn the little tricks (like the ones I am sharing) it's a LOT easier. :)

  • well im using rhino 3.0 well thanks for the speedy reply well i would like to have all the free tutorials you have made if possible. its really a nice job buy you the one which i saw is really clear to the point and really helpful i appreciate your effort thanks a lot once again

  • Pure glass and diamonds? I can give it a shot. Let me look into it and I will see what I can do. What version are you using?
