No offense, but thats why van halen never progressed - if it did ;

They would be like vai now in terms of technical skill and progression.

They had what they needed, but it seems like they let a lot of their own personal stuff got in the way in the long run of things - Pink Floyd would have -expanded- their music if they would have utilized it

@dunskie They did kick ass, i -love- van halen but they NEVER progressed out of that one sound and their latest album is not nearly as good as the first van halen cd and their stuff from back in the day ; but it never moved forward ; listen to vai - THAT is progression ;a lthough nowere near as good as jimi hendrix ; who in my opinion progressed more in his short 3 year long career than i EVER saw van halen progress in their whole lives... no music lesson intended btw, lol O.o...

Greensboro brought back some great memories. Me and my buddies totally got off. When Diamond Dave told the story I had visions from the past including some crazy VH shows when we partied all night, I got a little misty eyed thinking about old friends. This felt so fuckin' good.
