asus eee pc 1000hd battery not charging!

1015pn yesterday was fine , out of nowhere bam - no battery any more ... just when the warranty expired - that's what I call some damn fine display of planned obsolescence !

Same problem, bought 2 chargers and they work for a little then stop working, will never buy from asus again.

I think it's the connection for the recharger. My ASUS keeps alternating between AC mode and battery mode ... several times each second ... until I find the exact right angle to plug in the recharger in the side of the computer

i just bought a new battery and it's still not charging. the battery orange light is not coming on.  it's not charging even when the computer is on.

the charger seems to be on.
