    Still love ya Kid!

  • That is real southern style music!

  • Jap daraufhin das Lied gesucht.

  • @tulladome Genial :))^^

  • Läuft grade auf pro7 <3

  • Jumper had one of the best soundtracks i've ever seen... wait... heard.

  • 1:10 i love this moment

  • jumper dont brought me here.. a friend brought me here because he watched jumper.

  • if any of you live in antarctica you might see me jumping all over the glaciers.....so keep an eye out if your curious as to why you keep seeing something moving all over the continent

i'll be expecting you strangers and other jumpers from around the world to visit

    i'll see ya there.........bye.........zzzzZZZZZZZ (cute-like snoring sounds)

  • JUMPER BEST MOVIE !!

  • JUMPER

  • JUMPER!

  • I'd like to find a decent version of 'Staring At the Sun' on there that isn't live. It was the first song I'd ever heard by Simple Kid, and I absolutely loved it.

  • If you haven't already heard them, check out 'Truck on' by SK and 'Serotonin' too (my favourites). This guy needs recognition :D

  • this is some of the hoppiest banjo i ever heard and i'm from alabama i like it

  • lmao i typed in - banjo song from the jumper soundtrack- didnt know it would actually pop up :)

  • This song was on jumper it took me ages to find this song but midomi.com helped :P so i recorded the sound and found this

  • The Intro reminds me Travellin' Riverside Blues by Led Zeppelin

  • Jup, Jumper got me here. What an extremely under-rated awesome song!

  • Did you ever hear a song and wonder why it's not wildly popular? I mean,69K hits? For a song like THIS? It's rocky, poppy, bit of country-indie banjo. Dancey. This should have been a huge hit. Go figure.

  • sounds a little like a Zep song (the guitar riffs and bass )

  • Thumbs up for jumper!

  • thanks jumper, because of you i discovered some GREAT songs.

  • me too!!

  • @scalper42 oooo yeah

  • if you pump up da volume on headphones, you can hear him say "simple kid 2" at the beginning.

  • we have all heard this song somewhere.

  • I might have to cover this on banjo if no one else does :D

  • 2:43 to 2:48 = Insane banjo shreddage.

  • woof

  • Directly ripped from Led Zeppelin's tribute to Robert Johnson "Traveling Riverside Blues"

  • @JackRazmatazz

Inspiration has got to come from somewhere

  • Found this in the credits of Jumper! ;D

  • the intro is Awe....some!

  • ^_^ ahhhhhhh sweet memories of jumper

  • I think its becasue this song was on jumper

  • i heard this song from the movie Jumper and i fell in love with it instantly

  • @JacobRicheson Yep. That was also on the 2008 Saturn Vue commercial.

  • kinda reminds me of paul simon, with a banjo!

  • I don't understand how it takes people so long to find this song. Just like many of the viewers, I heard this song on Jumper, but honestly, WATCH THE CREDITS. Every song in every movie is always in the credits at the end of the movie. If you were that curious, just watch the credits, it's listed as number 3. I saw the movie and found it that night

  • The B-side on this single was even better....

  • My friend had a copy of the first Simple Kid cd and he left it in my car on the floor and it was broke by the time i found it. That shit is impossible to find on torrents.

  • Dude Ive also been looking for this song for ages I heard it on jumper and im like "Ive got to find this song!!"...and so the search began and 2 years later I found it <3

  • @asia3pea90 i been wating to find this song since hearin it on jumper too :D

  • I found this song at 3 in the morning after a year of looking for it. You should have heard my scream. lol

  • what type of banjo is in this song?

  • ah this is good irish music

  • @CelticHighlander101 ...Dude this isnt irish music e_e.............

  • @asia3pea90 Tis Irish music, true that its not the Irish music that you think with bagpipes and a fiddle also really called celtic. Hes from Ireland, Cork I believe, thus that makes him Irish as well as the music he produces. Just like Tupac is american, making his music american. but its called rap. So if you would like I can call this Rock.

  • i fricking love this song

  • i fricking love this song

  • I'm in love with this :)

  • not bad,not bad at all

  • a indie-loving-hippie-surfers theme song ( ;

  • It's like Beck dipped in sunshine!

  • What Simple kid is doing this days?

  • @nicorigo I read that Simple Kid decided to stop doing music.

  • @interpolluter29 (from Wikipedia) In early 2011 it was announced on the official website that there will be no further music or tours by Simple Kid.....CRAP!

That said, between SK1 and SK2, he worked for three years in a video shop in Camden, it was understood at the time that it was through with music too...So we live in the hope, it is such a good performer/ composer... No news since 2006, it's long though...:(

  • actually, JackRazmatazz, this is NOT a Zeppelin song. You are thinking of Traveling Riverside Blues, originally by Robert Johnson, then reworked by Zep. I've looked at both tabs, etc. this is not the same song. Quite different actually, though kind of similar.

  • Heard it in jumper. Took me a couple of days to find it. The google pages were all useless but I found one page that had all soundtracks and finally found it.

  • Led Zeppelin wrote this song. It was originally Robert Johnson's lyrics (spanning several of Johnson's songs as a tribute to him) and the sound of the song itself was entirely Zeppelin's ORIGINAL idea.

This song seems to loop the Zeppelin riff with different lyrics and is being packaged as original. Unless these guys go around praising Zeppelin and Johnson the way Zeppelin praised Johnson, I'd say this band, albeit sounding good, is stealing a sound from Zeppelin.

  • I invested more research in this song than my term paper. About time I found this.

  • This is the jam!! I've loved this song ever since I saw Jumper and I'm just now findin out who it's by -it sounds s little country at the beginnin but it's rockin!!!!

  • It's NOT the Honda Civic ad song. The lyrics are completely different. The notes and the instruments are not the same either.

  • @Jimpich yes it is you only think it's not because they only put the parts in where he says "whoop"

  • I wanna buy a Saturn now !!

  • HOLY CRAP! YESS! I FINALLY FOUND THIS SONG! WHY IS THIS SO HARD TO FIND?!?! ahh.. my life feels so much better now.

  • I think this was remixed for the Honda Civic "Same Only Different" (Save the Earth) TV ad. Agree about similarity to Traveling Riverside Blues, which is what I thought when I first viewed the commercial.

Trying to find this slide guitar riff for weeks--thanks for posting!!

  • Awesome Song - Remember me Travelling Riverside Blues of Led Zeppelin

  • I found this to be a very interesting song from the first time I heard it, about two maybe three years ago. Had a hard time finding it, glad I did though. The song just sounds good. What more can you ask of music ?.

  • awesome song :]

  • FREAKIN BEST BEST SONG!!

  • traveling riverside blues by led zeppelin

  • To be exact, Zeppelin which I love my #1 band, took this song from the wonderfully talented blues man Robert Johnson....they took the riff and added much to the song. All these three songs are great in there own way.

  • woop?

  • saw "jumper" for the first time tonight. this tune stuck in my head,so when it ended (cool flick by the way) I had to track it down......great jam !!!

  • woof!

  • Freaking amazing song. Just completely genius. Kinda combines Contemporary/Indie with early 70s, CCR-esque Southern Rock. I'm completely in love with this song.

  • FINALLY

  • Love this. I heard it on the Saturn Vue Hybrid commercial.

  • best song :D

  • idk why but it kinda reminds me of traveling riverside blues by zep

  • thats cuz its similar. the guys voice kinda sounds like plant in the chorus i think...

    still a great song.

  • same here, the riff is really similar to the intro to traveling riverside blues.

  • yea but led zep robbed it off robert johnson no doubt. no one 'own' this kind of blues riff

  • this song was on jumper?

  • yes it was :)

  • Fucking Finally, ever since I saw Jumper I've been looking for this song!

  • hybrid commercial !

    hah i love this song.

  • You got to hand it to him. Simple Kid is a one man band. He plays and records everything completely on his own.

  • luv this song :D

  • this is a pretty good song, i think this was the song that i listned to on the radio and got into a fender bender (...yea i'm horrible driver, i was actually rushing that morning lol)

  • Reminds me a lot of Beck.

  • "He looks like Beck."

^ how funny lol i just said that to myself. This song is ok, i like the beat, but 5 Years In Time is better :)

  • me too.

  • great that this tune made it into the movie jumper, cause i love the song & the film :)

  • haha me too

  • yup same here

  • to tenforests that is

  • Me too. He sounds like beck.

  • This is glam rock ripoff, reminiscent of T.Rex. I love it! I think the Led Zepplin comparison is a little off, unless you believe Zep invented the slide rule.

  • Tabs?!

  • yay i found dis song !

    yahoo...

  • Sounds a lot like Led Zeppelin. I like it

  • OMG I LOVE THIS SONGGGG!!!! I discovered it last year and fell in love with it!!

  • nobody to me said the song was good

THE SONG IS THE BEST LOL

  • I thought this was the kinks when I first heard it

  • where can i get this song for free?

  • Frostwire

  • I just watched Traveling Riverside Blues by Zeppelin to see how close these two were, and the Zeppelin version doesn't hold a candle to Lil King Kong... I like it WAY better! "Gimme a lil King Kong!"

  • Actually I stand corrected, Traveling Riverside Blues was done by Robert Johnson in 1937.

  • I believe it was redone by zeppelin as well?

  • yeah it was but I just meant it was a Johnson song originally.

  • This song is too close to Traveling Riverside blues by Led Zeppelin, sorry if there are multiple post but for some reason I couldn't post earlier.

  • Who!

  • this is the only song ive been listening to for the past couple of days. im not kidding. this is the only song. thats how obsessed i am with it xD

    sounds like beck.

  • yeah, he's in his influence list.

  • Funky is the first word that jumps to mind. Car commercial....go figure. I'll be picking this song up immediately. Certainly does sound like Traveling Riverside Blues. Big fan of that one as well.

  • Parts of it remind me alot of the Zeppelin song "Travelin' Riverside Blues"
