I've watched the show since it came out, Lamar made the show great ...Amstell carried the tradition on... when he left I stopped watching.

Bring back the lampooning! ^_^ and a long term presenter that is commited to the show like Amstell was.

For me Simon crossed the line between lampooning and bullying during his time hosting Buzzcocks.

He made the show very uncomfortable for me and I stopped watching in the end.

@DomWeasel I'm afraid I don't agree either, I find him so much less offensive than Lamarr, and I think wittier too. He was ok to have the piss taken out of him, which it was quite frequently by the guests and by himself a lot of the time. I think if you watch his stand up DVD you might get a better idea of where he's coming from!

Amstel was so much worse than Lamarr. When Lamarr insulted them he did it with intelligence and class. Amstel just picked on something and tore people apart.
