of course. the soviet union was a super power back then which comprised many nations, they couldnt keep up with american spending capabilities so in result they collapsed.... many former soviet nations turned over to nato and many have american bases/military presence. just remember its not the 1970's anymore.

We Soviets are always viewed as villains. In this game Soviet Union losses for its a American game. Still this trailer is one of the best of the game.

Acctually a Swedish Game company made the game, and I think they have got a pretty good way in having a neutral stand in the "who is evil" debate on this game compared to other games were its about the Soviets ;)

The world saw soviet for villains back then. Can't blame them. :) But the game clearly shows a veiw from both sides. Cpt malachenko or whatever was obsessed with the motherland. He's now dead is he not? =P

just so sad bannon died =( I loved that guy. He always be yelling "die you commies" and gives very sarcastic comments on other commanders. I wished webb had stayed in cascade fall instead of him, webb was too stuck up, he wasn't as cheerful and appealing as bannon.

no, it is true! read the product detail where the game is sold more carefully and ull see it says they features voice command, so you can call in reinforcement without having to go to the reinforcement tab and clicking on it and having it sent.
