This motivates me to move to Arizona and become a Police Officer and arrest white people who don't have their papers to prove they are citizens. If they don't have a birth certificate or passport to prove it on their spot they have to spend 6 month in jail. Nice... (Drivers license doesn't prove your a citizen.)

I too have reservation about this bill, I believe that state I D or Federal I D would be alot less like profiling and handle the problem better. No I D no services, no school, no jobs, no government aid..much better than profiling

So if a native american looks like he's mexican, and the native american isnt carrying a drivers license while he's walking down a street... that native american can be jailed for 6 months and have to pay a $500 fine. Wow! How about we switch roles and say, if you look white, we'll deport your ass back to europe for your ancestors stealing this country and murdering all the indians? Dear Carlos, Please understand we republicans don't hate you. Americans are a kind and generous people. I live in Ca, we are 22 BILLION$ in debt picking up the tab for the hospitals, schools,prisons, and our social services which have been bled dry by illegals. This bill promotes racial profiling period. How will a cop know if a brown skin person walking to walgreens is undocumented? how can they possibly have training in being psychic and cops at the same time? and you would think they have better things to do. Ironically, AZ was part of Mexico! The same people there trying to kick out. I'm an american and I refuse to carry my birth certificate and if I have to no choice then so does Bob and every other race.

You know what's realllll funny? We are all immigrants... Unless you are a native american. Your a fuckin* immigrant you or your parents or grandparents came to this country any other on a boat, plane, cruise ect. Ironically, AZ was part of mexico. Americans, like always took it away from them.. Typical of them... And yes! this bill promotes racial profiling and will target all brown people. I personally refuse to carry a birth certificate to any cop that is as american as myself.

I hate to see bills such as this, which targets people that look like me. I am so disgusted by this. In Texas, you get pulled over especially near the border check points for things such as a light skinned person in a car with a dark skinned person. They claim that this is suspicious and that it could be related to drug trafficking. I think it is b.s.

I feel sorry for the hard working immigrants! They don't deserve to be treated like that.
I want to tell them that is not their fault. The absence of immigration reform is the reason for what is happening!
I hope we can get a good immigration reform in 2010 and fix the broken immigration system!
