Does anyone know why they don't have an 8 seater van with AWD? And I want a minivan not an SUV because I know the Honda Pilot and Chevy Traverse have that option and no Suburban/Expedition stuff either. Thank you. I love the Odyssey and the Sienna and we want a higher trimmed one because we want all the good features but you cant get AWD and 8 seater at the same time, and all the other vans don't even have AWD.

Looked at them all extensively. The Toyota exceeds the Honda in all categories. I think the previous gen Honda is far superior to this strange looking new gen Honda minivan. I think it's trying to be a 2001 Hyundai Sante Fe. I have a Honda ridgeline and absolutely think it's one of the best vehicles I've ever owned. So i'm not a honda basher! But Honda has indeed screwed up their van. I love the sienna XLE Limited AWD! It's got every option and we love it!!! Would never swap it for the Honda!!

Oh why? Oh why did Toyota go with last-gen Odyssey 8th seat set-up?! It is practically useless for everyone. Toyota should think about replacing it with the 2nd gen Sienna 8th seat set-up. In addition, you need to rethink on the exposed tracks on the floor. These tracks will trap dirt, sand, debris, food after many months of use (worse with kids).

From this video, it looks like the quality is up from their last loser body style, and they've basically caught up to Honda's current 2010 model with just a few additional options and enhancements.

However the 2011 Odyssey is now showing online, and it blows the doors off of this in all regards. As much as I like minivans, they're a dying segment. Honda was at least innovative with their new design. It's early still, but the new V6 Ody has a better MPG estimate then the Sienna 4 cylinder!

@soccermomd00d the honda lacks the refinement and comfort of the toyota.  its nice too but when you want to step up into class toyota is the winner hands down. Honda will never be that. Just look at Acura vs Lexus... really one says fast and roguish and the other says class and distinction. It depends on what your tastes are but I like the toyota much better in 2011. That Sienna LTD is awesome all over.. RECOGNIZE.

@BoniusRx Sorry, but refinement comes with build quality and few Toyota models have maintained this over the past 10 years. Lexus to me only says overpriced Toyota (Much the same as Acura)

I reiterate that although the new Sienna's an upgrade, but they went in the wrong direction. It's big, bulky, and not what people are going for anymore. I've driven by it, and it's massive- bigger then the 2010 Ody. I'm just impressed that Honda actually made a new body style SMALLER then the predecessor

@soccermomd00d Actually the 11 Sienna is smaller than the previous on the outside but gained 2 inches of interior space. I personally feel the Honda is too small but I'm a big person so I'm not into smaller. Also I'm far from impulsive and shopped minivan literally for years while we were trying to get used to the idea. Honda is ok but the ride is hard and jerky and the seats were uncomfortable. Toyota was quieter and smoother. I only like the top of the line models in either one though.

@BoniusRx Oh I agree it has a lot to do with taste. Personally I prefer a more responsive ride, and don't mind sacrificing smoother ride for sportier, more rigid handling (although I hear that the new Sienna improved on the spongy ride factor too) My main factor though is quality, (durable, higher end plastics, controls, etc) and though the 2011 Ody isn't out yet, I do know that 2010 side by side are no contest in Honda's favor

@IceKreamVampire They just unveiled the production model of the 2011 Odyssey. It's eons ahead of it's time-just like most of its predecessors. Check it out on Honda's website. Soooo nice.
