  • nicejob to both backing that baby in.I would have torn the house down.

  • wow that must suck to back up

  • are all those trucks your dads?

  • Really beautiful piece!!

  • beautiful truck

  • it runs on gasoline?

  • That is one nice looking rig.

  • nice truck

  • Sweet

  • ALF = American LaFrance, right????

  • Here is some info. the truck is privately own by my dad and the buliding is too.The doors are just painted red to look like a firehouse. The trucks motor is not tweaked it just has a vertical exhaust and a small muffler.

  • @JdbTrucks haha wow i wana do that when i get older, have my own fire house that would be awesome. Just one question, does it cost ur dad alot of money

  • @JdbTrucks Your dad is one lucky ass guy.

  • @JdbTrucks Nice rig and all but your Dad could use a little driver training.

  • @Wonkawillie77 It wasn't my dad how had the problem! If you ever driven a tiller which you probably never have then you don't know how it works. The guy in the back was having the problem because he hadn't ever steered the ass end.

  • @JdbTrucks I tillered Ladder 3 and Ladder 4 (among other duties since I retired as a Captain) for the City of Albany, NY Fire Department so I do know what it's like to drive and tiller a TDA. So, watching your father, who I'm sure is a great guy, he is having problems backing in and the tillerman is as well.

  • this boy active?

  • I don't think because it dosent have a Fire department name or the engines number on the side of the door

  • the motor sounds tweaked, killer rig, clean and very nice.

  • I stick with our quint. I would not want to drive either end of that!

  • What is the name of this place?

  • It my dad's place

  • private....revamp job then???

  • @JdbTrucks How many miles on that 8V71 that's powering it ??

  • I bet that thing is fun to back into the station! hehe

  • How rare is that?

  • We need more tiller man POV response videos!!! Very nice truck by the way.

  • :( i want one... my dept has an 86 LaFrance as our primary Rescue.. ive always loved tillers

  • This truck here came from the Pittsburgh, Pa Fire Dept. and was originally the twin to the other American LaFrance Pioneer tiller. We have a few tillers in the collection. We have a total of 16 trucks-all are ALF's with the exception of two Seagraves. Stay safe and God Bless.

  • This is located in Camden, NJ. If I had a more experienced or regular tillerman, we would of had the truck put away a lot quicker. But, we just take our time and sooner or later while get it back in nice and safe. The truck does have an 8V71 DD.

  • Where is this at?

  • That sounds like an 8v71 to me.

  • Wow, tight squeeze, takes 4 minutes & 3 men to back it in.

  • You're backing this into a museum right?

  • Man I'd hate to be the a-hole who cut it to short in an emergeny

  • Beautifull cabin, where does the America lafrance gets its name from, America is the country its built, was the founder French ?

I know Mack does have French founders, but i cant place America laFrance.

  • AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! I love any truck from 1980 Back to 1900

  • our 81 la france pumped for 24 hours straight once

  • Beautiful truck, my department has a 1972 American Lafrance engine and its pumped for 17 straight hours at a fire without being shut down. Its one hell of a truck.

  • That is one beautiful ALF tiller. The sound of the Detroit Diesel engine is music to my ears.

  • Who originally owned this rig?

  • Never mind. I just saw in the other video it's ex-Pittsburgh.

  • wow this must be a pain in the ass

  • Saw it at the Philly, and Wilmington,De fire musters

  • THATS NEW JERSEY RIGHT??

  • YEAH!!

  • I'd hate to be respondable backing that thing into the station.

  • WOW ! tight squeeze. How was the turn coming out? I bet you both drivers had to be on their game, huh? Great looking rigs too. Love the "old school" fire trucks. Don't make 'em like that anymore.
