I agree with the Republicans that we need to expand our oil drilling and utilize our other natural resources i.e. natural gas, solar, etc.

We need to do more drilling in Alaska now regardless if the democrats agree or not. Most U.S. citizens are mad that democrats for not trying to fix our energy problems.

The Alaska oil pipe line is now at 50%,it should be at 100%.

Shame on the democrats for there poor leadership and lack of concern for all Americas.

Drilling now has no economic benefits and it won't lower the cost of gas. Conservation and a windfall profits tax with a rebate to consumers will have at least a real short-term economic impact. Bachmann and the Republican's plans will do NOTHING, as usual, except line some oil executive's pockets. ANWAR drilling and offshore drilling are not going to help us and it's not going to help the environment.

Gas prices have already fallen 50 cents since Bush's executive order. Higher prices bring conservation all by themselves. Where is the line between profits and windfall profits, and by what right does government steal them and others who didn't earn them receive them?

Please, just learn some economics. Your irrational hatred for big oil only leads you to justify theft and government tyranny, neither of which helps the economy or the environment.

I have been in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, PleaseNoPolitics, and trust me, you or me or the American public do not want to see this pristine arctic ecosystem ruined. And ruined it would be!
