Also I wish american blacks had their own language....patwa/creole is so beautiful for singing................

  • @tronicvision Black Americans have their own language, Ebonics.

  • @tronicvision black americans have exhibited and still have plenty of rhythym tracing back to the roots

  • Tramp! You should be ashamed of yourself getting caught giving a blowjob to your married dance instructor. And you didn't even flinch when you got busted by his wife. How low can you go? Time for your husband Jeff to find out about the wicked games you play. Hope you keep sleeping well at night, DIRTY HOE

  • Xoooxoxo, I love KOMPA <3

  • Nice music! but I think that its more zouk then kompa. Listen to some Gracia Delva or Jakito or even djazzla but this is far from being kompa.

  • @8muziq8 what are you talking about, there is a difference between kompa love and kompa direck. she singing kompa love.

  • @blindman22

The trick is to listen to the instruments. Listen carefully to the snare... Very repetitive and no special passes. Usually the snare you are listening in this song should be on the Cymbal or high-hats

  • dang girl you stay on this page!!!

  • And the children of the slave masters fled to the Spanish side the Island Haiti became the 1st free black Republic in the Western Hemisphere in1803/DR was still under Spanish control. Haiti or Ayiti in Creole is the name given to the land by the former Taino-Arawak peoples, meaning "mountainous country". The name was reinstated in 1804. Haiti became what it is now cause its a limestone island there is only so much you can without properly treating the soil. Its very hard to grow anything so

  • Okay here it goes. First and foremost Haiti shares an island with the Dominican republic that was once known as Hispaniola. Claimed by Christopher Columbus in 1492. It was once (and still is) a beautiful island. It was split in a treaty in 1697 between France and Spain. West Africans were brought (enslaved) to that island by the French to cultivate sugar cane cotton, rum and coffee. In 1793 a 13 yr long slave rebellion was launched by a Jamaican born Boukman. The slaves slaughtered their master

  • se la pieau avou remeni. jen demasile ape dance... sa ke peo boun pase sa?

  • your comments about haitian contre dance starting merengue intrigues me, because my mom said to me my dad, grandpa and aunt dance merengue different and they are all haitian, so maybe they dance different because of it?

  • i luv mine 2 idk why ppl make fun of the fact i am i mean we present ourselves really good i luv my music

  • I LUV MY MY CARRIBEAN CULTURE!

  • Please enjoy the music both of you....

  • j'adore le son

  • i like this!

  • Dominican music is a spin off of haitian music. Their type of music originated in Haiti

  • gracias mi amigo el video fue agradable y informativo, and thank you at least someone not of Haitian origin beleives me

  • im not haitian nor dominican..but im west indian..mom is from trinidad n my dad is from la dominique .. and all hispanics in the west indies which is including Dominican have african in hem al of the island does...along the lines they have spaniards in them

  • dr and haitian r both black majority of course haitians r usually darker but it aint like they 2 different race trust me a haitian y domin are closer than a domini and mexican. they have both influence each other, eat da same food, follow da same language, religion (many dr folk follow vodun) and plus most haitains y domini are catholic. da differnet is da white stock. one spanish da other french. dat its dey r connected da. domini spanish has a lot of hatian words in it.

  • Dumb!

  • Dominicans has african blood not haitian euuuckkk...U wishhh!

  • Dominicans have african blood...... and what do you think Haitians have... Sigh you've lost all rights to post on YT. Stick to what you're good at making me delicious Nachoes and Salsa Dip.

  • kompasssssss

  • haters that are sayin that kompa is boring and makes uwanna slee be quiet because i like and so does my brother good song

  • its because of lack of creativity. 99.9% of Kompa has the same beat over and over and over and over .......... ad nauseum

  • Yes I agree SOME koumpa(the correct spelling) has a repetative beat, but not all. I guess u are not even Haitian. You have not even listened to all of the koumpa artists so how could u judge?

  • Kahanyah, i think you try to bring arguments without supportive details. every music has the same base, but other sounds can be added. I used to feel the same about Zouk (from Martinique) & Reggeaton (Porto-Rico) until i start to listen. and yes, DR & HR have more in common than any other Latin countries. Don't be like crackia09 or certeroooo, their name say it all.

  • so ur not a true haitian

  • Comment removed

  • Because it doesn't exist.

  • sounds like bachata or merengue from dominican republic

  • Check the origin of both of them; willing to bet at least one of them is derived from Africa. Dominicans hate admitting it...

  • well yea if u wanna go far as ancestry somehow it all links to Africa!
