I remember in LC Schedule "One Contestant" had faulty mic positioning technique and Padmja Fenaniji pointed that out, after that none of the little champs errored on that one. I am surprised that nobody pointed that out to Hrishikesh in AA schedule, even today his mic was between mouth and nose and his "Out breath" makes his voice sound Nasal.

Thats Hrishikesh Ranade For you :D. I have sincerely tried to "Start Afresh" with this singer, and he always leaves me disappointed. Sings "Superficially" , Pronunciation issues, breathing issues and seriously feel he has 'Sinus' trouble so sounds "Nasal"

I have to disagree with you both here. I think Salil tries to convey the meaning of the words in most of his songs. All his songs may not be "raaga baddha" all the time, but the tune is very simple and it does not take the center stage but the words do.

On the same token he also has some raag based songs which are a level above the non-raag based songs..
