  • -_- should buy some silent 200mm Computer case fans, it would work way better than that little fan, and would be much more silent.

  • Nice! Dig ghetto engineering.

  • Dos it make sound interference from the fan motor??????

Can you here the fan motor in your subs ??????

    BZZZZZZZzzzzzzz

  • @itsjuan800 I didn't hear it I think it helped because I had the fan up off the amp and away from the rca's

  • @casperskafs I'm getting the buzzing sound not because the fans are touching the amp but because I connected the black wire to the ground. Any idea whats going on?

  • @HappyManfeet Sorry bro not sure

  • ...you realized that you could have just swapped the wires around, i dont think fans need a set polarity so they work either way..unless theres a diode in it

  • i can't watch the video

  • @maxodd63 Hmm don't know why. Sorry bro

  • You wasted your time. You should have just raised the amp an inch or 2 using nuts and bolts to ground and secure it, to have air flow on top and bottom with a fan blowing air through it.

  • @MYM45ONTUBE No way this worked awesome. Helped at least 50%

  • @casperskafs ok my fan has three wires black, red, blue now what? thanks

  • @deejayblaze9 That makes it even better. Its just like an amp. you have a power ground and remote. Just splice um in with your amp

  • @casperskafs awesome man thanks=) check out some of my vids

  • great video man im looking ford to more.....

  • btw fyi, ma audio succs. if you read this message me and ill explain y. but really like your vids bro. keep up the good work

  • @lownloud87 Thanks bro. I've seen MA AUDIO amp go up in smoke more than once. Almost burnt down a car. I've also seen them get loud

  • can i run my fan to my battery

  • @mobaseballmo9 Sure can just hook it up to some kind of relay or toggle switch or it will run all the time

  • @casperskafs alright thanks i wanna run it to my rms to it turns on when my amp turns on but im not sure how to do that

  • @mobaseballmo9 just run the + on the fan to your remote wire on your amp. Just splice it in with your amp. Thats how I get it to turn on with my amp

  • And 2 pioneer amps for soundstream coaxials.8 of em.

  • Even though my amps dont get hot this is still a good video.i been running a 2000 watt boss amp going on 5 years now.

  • I love your installs..its not all fancy and expensive.thats the way i like it.looks have nothing to do with sound or performance.nice

  • @henrylovesweed Totally agree bro

  • Thanks!

  • Thanks, I have several and my brothers amp overheated on him, so we will be using the method you used..Thanks

  • @J4CKofD4LL4S No prob bro. It worked for me. Keeps them a lot cooler than I thought it would. Without the fan I couldn't touch this amp cause it got so hott. With the fan I could touch it all day and it didn't burn me

  • would a fan from an old computer work as well??

  • @J4CKofD4LL4S Yea it should thats pretty much what these are... computer fans

  • FANtastic!!!!!

  • @Mattertron1979 LMFAO

  • Country Ghetto

  • U DA MAN! I live in Japan and it's stupid hot here yo. Thanks for real tho

  • @swampass24 Thanks for watching bro

  • man ur fuckin brilliant!!! way easier then what i had in mind

  • @LeoGallent :) Thanks bro!!!!!

  • Hell yeah Duracell screwdrivers are boss i got a few of em i use them all the time

  • @HolyShitNewsTV Hell yea they come in very handy sometimes

  • Dawg ghetto aint even the word...that's "Country Ghetto! and aint nothin wrong with that ;)

  • @MrUnique27 Yea it's not the prettiest but it keeps my amp cool

  • Hey Man, just wanted to say thanks for the videos that you have put out. The way that you explain the installs is in my language. Your really good at it and you should be doing it for a living. Best of Luck to you.

  • @CrimsonJohnson Thank you very much for the kind comment. Glad ya like :)

  • Your post help me out. I got some plexi glass from ace hardware.. Ebay I order some external cooling fans and fitted it with the plexi. The fans came with leds, so got it under the amp so blows air up. Works awesome plus I got the led lighting the plexi. Looks like tron world in my car.

  • @jwicked08 Awesome job man. I've seen some people do a setup like that before and it looks pretty neat. Glad I could help

  • why did you not just cut a hold in the top of the amps casing and just run it that way???

  • @haassman This way it blows on more of the amp

  • you wont need a remote wire right? because your amp already has one..

  • @wacdaddy22 Pretty much everything needs a remote wire unless you want it to stay on all the time.

  • Cool. Thanx. Good info and good how to videos.

  • @Abraxsis2001 Thanks man

  • No Im saying the main power to your amp. It seems like the amp I have drains alot of power from my battery.

  • @Abraxsis2001 OO I get ya. Yea I do have power straight from my battery. I have a special battery though. I run a yellow top optima battery in this car. I had the same problem like my lights would dim really bad. I bought this battery and my problems stopped. You can buy them at like auto zone or places like that.

  • Do you run your power straight from your battery or do you have something else?

  • @Abraxsis2001 I splice it in on my crossover

  • as long as my fan dnt fry...LOL

  • just did today thanks

  • @eligs340 no prob

  • Where did you get it?

  • @eligs340 If you mean the fan I've had it forever. You can buy them at radio shack or online somewhere

  • how well did this work for you

  • @dlzonwlz Perfect. My amp hasn't overheated or shut off once even in 95 degree heat

  • @casperskafs I HAVE A MA AUDIO AMP 1100 HIGH PERFORMANCE IT TURNS OFF SOMETIMES BUT THE LAST TIME IT TURNED OF WAS 2 MONTHS AGO .............

  • @OBARRVAGOS I've never had this one turn off but i've never ran it without the fan cept a couple times to see how hot it gets. I drive almost 2 hours to work so I put amps to the test. After one ride to work my amp was so hot you couldn't touch it

  • @casperskafs OH OK THANKS MAN !!!

  • ITZ COOL THAT MY TERMINATOR AMP COMES WITH A FAN ALREADY

  • @MrDownkiller Thats awesome.

  • (2/20if you run too much off of your curent remote wire depending on that fans voltage it curently pulls from your remote umm how can i say this in a moderate manner it could possibly burn your head unit up but yes i know if it is a 12.00 volt fan and not a 110 fan you'll be fine but just remember your head unit remote wire can only handle sooo much until it burns up if its is pulling constant voltage from your head unit,"the remote wire requires a quick steady voltage run and not constant...

  • @RydazBass1 Damn that sux. Maybe thats why my lights went out on my head unit. Don't know though my head unit is pretty old

  • ((1/2)One thing you might want to watch out for and yes i know "its not going to hurt anything" but i will qoute you on this my bass head brother, that your remote wire is classified to run at a certain voltage from your head unit to the rear of your car if you would take a multi meter and test your remote you will notice its at 11.01 or 11.02 depending on your cars electrical......

  • ok i try to wired with the same steps but for me it didnt work.. do i need a crossover to power my fan??? cause i did it directly form the amp.. but didnt got power. and what if my fan has a white cable cause it has 3 cables red , white , and black????

  • @floridaboys13 No you don't need a crossover. Try splicing your wires into your amp red = power black = ground white = remote. Try that and tell me if it works. :)

  • @casperskafs well i try today but it didnt work . well it work but when i wired the ground to the ground the fan went on automatic.. so i try what you toll me??

  • @dylpickle92 No prob

  • Might try some fiberglass bud, make it look like a million bucks. But, if it works that's all that matters!!

  • @mandtconstruct Thanks man I might try that

  • nice getto setup i wouldn't do any other way

  • @TULOWCANADEZO Thanks man

  • so ground to ground and positive to remote?

  • @midvaletrojans Yep that simple

  • 5 stars bro

  • @rebalrouser09 Thanks man
