2006 Kawasaki Ninja 250 Top Speed!

There are a lot of 250cc bashers on the internet, but hey it's just like bashing a BMW m5 cause it's not as fast as a Bugatti veyron. although I understand top speed is more limited by wind on a motorcycle, thus you end up with ridiculous off the line acceleration on any bike with the same top speed as an 'average' car

@magnumluis89 ......I don't believe there is a difference at all. My suggestion is to get the newest one you can afford. Old body style vs. new body style are merely your preference. If you can swing it the Ninja 500 will provide better for power and keep you on your toes a little longer. ....unless you want to ride wide open throttle all the time...then the 250 will suit. Im saving to buy a ninja on craigs list for a while. What questions should I ask before buying the bike?

@SirJacob91 tires, brakes, fork seals, chain and sprockets, oil change, valve service. look in the gas tank for rust. check all the lights. if it has any damage from falling stay away. make sure the handlebars are strait when you sit on it and put the front wheel strait.

would a 2006 kawasaki niNJA 250 be a good bike to stunt or like wheelies at least? and would it look cool modified like no windshield new farrings or plastics cuz i like the new style crotchrocket looks this 2006 style looks pretty old

@skatejust4fun1: Thats a tough question to answer. I don't do wheelies but I imagine with some practice anyone can wheelie any bike. As for looks, I prefer stock unmolested motorcycles as they are meant to be. It would merely be a matter of personal opinion. So what if it looks dated, it is still going to be a great bike to have loads of fun on! They handle real nice and move along well as long as you keep the rpms higher....and thats perfect for me because I like pushing a motor to its max

@VibeUser ...this bike is 100% stock with no modifications. I think this video shows 108 on the speedo...it was a friends bike so this was my only ride...
