Good job very nice. even with cold hands lol. You have nice curvature of your hands and you are a very consistent player (meaning you played through the song a single tempo) If i had to recommend anything to you, it would to be to watch your pinky. I can tell it is trying to raise itself lol I have that problem, This problem can limit your speed. Good job kudos to you :)
@TheBananian Thanks. It was very hard to keep the pinky down. I am trying to practice some technique for all fingers to curve evenly and it has been improving.
I'm fully amazed of what you did here, thanks for this. I don't think I'll ever be able to play something like that 'cause piano is my second instrument (after guitar) and playin' couple of hours every day is just impossible for me (I should definetly give up school!:)) but I really admire people like you, their patience (learnin' one piece 3 months!) and passion.
And I think (from seeing your hands) you're about my age (I'm almost 17)
damn, I don't know if I have improved over the course of 1+1/2 year doing nothing. grrr, It's time to get back to practice and get in college conservatory now.
well then. I can congratulate you to be a good piano player, impromptu is really only for those who have playing experience. Maybe you can place your actual version of Impromptu in the Net. Just to see the difference.
i'm extremely skeptical of this... i guess maybe i just don't completely understand how it's possible, but to gain the finger speed and endurance to play this. to play something like this it takes years and background knowledge. if it's really true you really are a virtuoso
even my teacher didn't believe it.. I guess, idk. AP theory was my first ever background in music.. I picked it cuz I thought I would gain much but it was so difficult. However, I gained a lot of information last year. I know you probably don't believe it. But I don't know what it is, sometimes, I just have to go down and practice until midnight before bed. It's like a passion. I usually practiced for 4-5 hours straight around audition period when I also learned this piece not so long before it.
and I listened to this song more than 10 hours a day when learning it. Even in class, I have this kind of memory where I can imaging the whole piano and started playing on the desk which annoyed everyone around.
Now, I know how to add the bass for the melody part like Yundi Lee, :) it's the left pedal.. :D so happy.
yeah. it was like $9/hr. lol. It just came naturally to me. Idk, my ear suddenly got better in the first 3 months and thing started to progress like nuts.
I had a teacher that was from Julia. But she wasn't my private teacher. She said that I played very well and didn't give me any advice on how to play the things. She only said one thing was that "Don't practice too much and that's why your tendons are hurting" lol
be early? what? It's my second piece when started learning piano though. So, I had trouble reading the bass clef. It took me almost 2 months, but I was learning 4 pieces at the same time too.

You play awsome!! Your fingers move so fast on the piano!!!!! I play cello and, have seen alot of people play piano but, you rock!

there is lack of emotional style here.
jjjjl241 3 years ago
speed is not everything. You must improve your musical style, your emotional level of playing way way better.
pofique 3 years ago
yes, i know that. This was when I just started to be able to move fast. That was one year ago. Now, it's all different!
I performed this piece of stage and it went great! The teachers loved it!
