i used this and even after boot nueter when my sim card is installed it tells me to connect to i tunes but when i take the sim card out it goes to the lockscreen and works fine. HELP PLEASE??????

@ruuuneeescape did you make sure to restore your phone to 3.1.2 using Shift+Restore in itunes and then choosing your custom ipsw?

this is a good idea for this unlock because sometime past jailbreaks may interfere with unlocks... restoring is sort of like clearing the history

after that make sure to use blackra1n by Geohot to jailbreak and then follow the instructions in this video again

@0igo dude thats the same thing that happend to me,what u gotta do is connect ur iphone to ur computer..then run blackra1n...its really that simple i felt extremely retarded when that happend to me,i was jsut bored so i decided to try that and it worked,and the funny thing is i was in that mess because i tried to jailbreak it lol,so just jailbreak it and its going to go to the normal screen on its own

well that shouldve worked cuz it did for me... or u can just get a at&t card from a friend and put it in there then connect to itunes and activate your fone then return the card cuz what they are asking you to do is connect a sim card and since your device was rebooted all you can use for now is at&t

i did everything you said with blackra1n and boot neuter and cydia and all but when i put my t-mobile sim card in, the phone wouldn't register it. it said t-mobile by the service bars but wouldn't let me do anything but make emergency calls!
