Most strips are so damn sticky at the launch area they are like a pair of tennis shoes. This may have been his undoing. I've noticed bikers at the local track seem to have a difficult time dealing with the added traction. Shit happens fast, it's easy to arm chair but difficult to deal with at the moment. Bet he was sore the next day.

Hell yes. Took my CBR900RR to the track and my boots were sticking to the track! I was thinking...crap..what rpm to launch at ? Track sticky as hell...I pulled a wheelie at about 45 degrees for at least an 1/8 mile! 121 mph thru the traps! Not bad for a wheelie run! but yes it can surprise you!

He was out of control from the get go and should have thrown the clutch in and shut it down. The guy simply has no clue about how to control a motorcycle and shouldn't be riding.
