Prachtig stukje, mooie documentaire, maar op een punt zie ik het anders (2:30 e.v.). De neus waarlangs Zappa kijkt is inderdaad langer, letterlijk maar ook figuurlijk. Hij geeft juist zo af op geloof(svormen = meervoud) en reageert juist bewust en provocerend tegen de beperkte zienswijze van groepen, dat sommige beelden/beeldvorming ook werkelijkheid zouden zijn - wat in veel gevallen juist helaas een erg smalle, beperkte zienswijze vertegenwoordigt.

Hi flowerpunkchip,

On the one hand Jan Andries is a true Zappa fan and inspired by his continual efforts to get people to become 'real', what Jan Andries also tries to get across to his congregation as a vickar. On the other hand he would have liked to have a heart to heart with Zappa about his negative comments on the Christian belief, although it's obvious that when you live in America, the Swaggarts and their followers deserve a good session on the whippingpost!

I don't understand flamsk as in the clip. I hardly handle english. I understand de Boer is religious? Frank Zappa did kick in any directions. Not only religion. Fair enough. Also. Zappa refere to Jesus in a respectful way in Elvis has just left the buildning. Zappa is buried in blessed ground. Zappa only had critical comments to fanatic religious and send-me-your-money-prayer Swaggart. Swaggart was a hypocrit. Frank Zappa was right.
