my grandpa loved commander keen (still does i think) and one day several years ago he had the same bug at the same spot. he then asked me if i could fix it (which i of course couldn't). took me about an hour of stupid running around to finish the level (and thus the game) anyway.

When I was young my dad showed me the cheats to Commander Keen and I beat all of them with God Mode on. Man I should've played it without cheats :P
