Much of there early stuff was very tongue in cheek, sung in a cheesy American accent. They knew exactly what they were doing though because they were by then accomplished singers/songwriters and record producers. Great musicians as well. This band was up there with the Beatles for inventiveness.

@tongapuss lip- singing or lip- sync just mean that they are "not singing for real" just moving their lips to recorded music. In Germany if a singer comes to guest a show on TV his/her music including singing will be recorded and the guest artist will just lip sing!! kinda weird I think! It would make me feel uncomfortable as an artist. Anyways, that's what lip-singing means. 10cc were guests at such shows, and I believe this one video was recorded in Germany.
