Was the shadow idea inspired by 'A Wizard of Earthsea'? Because there is a similar concept in that book. Really great work, I am amazed you made this in 48 hours.
It's a difficult, excellent game, especially considering the 48-hour time limit. The pixel art and animations are gorgeous, the music fits very well, the controls are tight and precise; the package as a whole is an excellent game. Although, it really shoots down my feeling of accomplishment from beating it with that, that ending haha (trying to be as spoiler free as possible while still getting out my idea).
well done - love the game and concept, but I really feel bad about the lovely fluffy :( don't like what happened in the beginning - you should have chosen something else... now I feel bad...
