  • Just curious, what type of money were these guys making doing this gig? Also, in between the gunfights, were you guys full-time employees of Old Tucson? Were you just doing all kind of other jobs around there in between the gunfight work?

  • I also remember in the early 60's where Fess Parker...who was a top-flight Hollywood actor, gave a demonstration on how much power those "bullet-less" western gunfighter guns had. One guy held an open newspaper, and Fess stood by and shot the paper at close range. It burst into flames right quickly!

  • That is cool.. I worked there with those guys. I was hoping I was in this show but wasn't, that is JT and can't remember the other two guys names.

  • @ashlar2112 I know there was a guy whom I met in a summer school English class that we had to take at Amphi High School in @ 70-71, whose name was Grant Wheeler. He was an Amphi guy and I was a CDO guy. But it was one of those deals where we had never met, but we just kept laughing soooo much in that class....I guess we had the same mindset. We just couldn't keep from bursting out at all the stuff we'd do to egg each other on. Well, he became a gunfighter out there for a long time.

  • Great!
