Listen to that V8 Perkins make its sweet music! Amazing that a 24 year old fire engine is still in front-line service in the developed world, and in as good condition as this!! My 1986 one doesn't even look THAT good!!

But I am not 100% sure that the truck came on run @ year 1984...
BTW, this was a spare truck which stationed in Kennedy fire station in May 2008. Now this truck is retired~

No it's not - this is one of very many original to Hong Kong (though it does look similar to the Essex machines)
