omg me too! i remember when i was at 6th grade, i was so thin because i was so focused on the calories that i consumed. I was like you, i didn't eat much through the day. I was getting out of school oneday, and I fainted. My parents took me to the hospital and I was told i wasn't eating right. After that I changed and wasn't focused much on my weight. I guess it something most teenage girl goes through..

not to be rude, but you don't have to throw up to have an eating disorder. calorie counting, excessive exercise, and arising health concerns (like passing out do to your actions) does classify it as an eating disorder. when you do your psych/soci credit in high school, you'll learn about it. but good for you getting past it and realizing it was silly!

i had a friend when i was 16, almost 17,that committed suicide. it was the day back after xmas break. it's a really long story about what she went through & didn't really involve self esteem or anything... it was her & her boyfriend. their issues brought them to kill themselves together. it's terrible when people's issues bring them to that. teenagers can't get that eventually, things will work out & eventually be different, you know? she was SO smart and kind and vibrant. it's still sad.

My self confidence/esteem was low as well, but it occured in high school.

I agree, girls are very mean. That's one of the reason that had brought me down and it's worse if those girls were your friends. The other was family.
