Sweet ride, lots of metal crafting required to build anything like this, we built a go-kart once. It sure is nice to see a completed project up and running :)
@ChargerMiles007 ya and i got it 4 free so i cant complan the only thing that was wrong with it it had a little pice of crap blocking the exsaust valve frome closing alittle wire brush and it fired right up =3-
@ChargerMiles007 it took me a year yo rat hole all the parts geting them one at a time one a month with my check and a nother year to build it i origanaly built it to make some money but then the econamy shut down and it was too cool to sell so i keep it =3-
@ChargerMiles007 thanx the engine was on an air compressor my dad had 4 like a millon years then he got a new one and my mom wanted the old one gone sooooooooo i got the engine b4 they got rid of it score right =3-
I have that kind of luck sometimes also, like last night, I was doing some early Christmas shopping (trying to par down this year due to finances), and was able to pick up 1 present for 1/2 price! :)
I got some parts in, that I ordered, so I will be starting on a new Briggs project soon.
@ChargerMiles007 good job on the presents i cant do my x-mas shopping till i sell my crops......what kind of new project are we gona be working on??????? im waiting till i can afford a gas welder so i can finish my boiler 4 my 2cyl. (to hard to seal weld with electricity) and im in the prosses of redesining my wood gasifier... gotto get ready reserch beging as soon as it snows =3-

I am still designing it, sometimes I tend to drag that part out, then I have to build it. Unfortunately it is getting colder, and rainy here, and I do my welding outside, so that can make things interesting!
I know what you mean, I have had some problems trying to seal weld with a MIG welder, I had to weld one item 3 times before it finally sealed up.
@ChargerMiles007 ya i got a coulpe top secret proj i cant tell any one or the gov. WILL make me disappere (NO SHIT) IE engines that run out expedtind fule it will be a type of thermal engine(like a sterling but noe hot air) haha whaen it gets cold and snowy all the people in my track leave so its like total freedom plus they just liffted the burrn ban so reserch can resume yaaaaaa lol =3- good luck!!!!!

That was a simple fix for the engine! I find some at the scrap yard that only have minor problems, like a blown gasket, or valve lash closed up etc.
Nice job building the machine cheaply :)
