I'm one of countless Australian fans of the great Sixto Rodriguez. Got to know his music from the very beginning when anyone who owned a Rodrizuez LP (yep that far back) was inner cool. After collecting thousands of recordings, I keep coming back to his masterworks COMING FROM REALITY and COLD FACT. His live album recorded in Australia is also a treasure. Now that a wide international audience hangs off his every note, I'm beginning to think there is a bit of justice in the world after all.

I met Rodriguez in manchester and soon found myself backstage after the show to have a night that changed my life. Thank you Sixto for listening to so much of my catalog with such interest and anytime you want to share another smoke session or melody riff just get your daughter to use that UK number I gave her for you, Im in Andalusia part time too, Oh I took some film of your show and It still gets played to myself, friends and plants too, even the cat from two doors away.God bless amigo x Rooh

@Roohtube2012 he really is a nice guy, he spent a couple days hanging with me and my previous band earlier this year. we had a rehearsal and a gig with him, did a bit of hanging out. Really nice guy, his daughter whom he travels with is an amazingly nice person as well.

I've been listening to him since the 70's. He's a true lyrical genius. He never got the acclaim he deserved because his lyrics weren't fun and poppy in an age where disco glitter and partying your ass off were the lyrical themes - his lyrics were just too real for most to handle.
