This is like what Guns N' Roses did with the Song "Don't Cry" They had the original version, and then an altered version with different lyrics. Yeah, it's pretty much the same thing as "Pride And Joy" But that doesn't make it not good.

They are two songs describing the same girl at different periods of a relationship- one happy, one sad and troubled. And , there are differences in the songs- this intro is the pride and joy intro interrupted with different licks.

Stevie ray vaughan took piece's of i'm crying and put them into pride and joy which he wrote for his wife lenora, only problem is she thought he wrote it for a past girlfriend so he wrote Lenny for her.
