  • hahha sarah silverman

  • ohh they're so great

and ohh andy samberg was there

    i love him

  • ... he eat for brackfast, lunch and dinner...

    very funny

  • Go Sarah.

  • im from England so what the Strike For Writers about coz i miss a lot of shows :(

    SCRUBS!

  • Who was the woman who said "Oh it's fantastic... you know, and I'm not surprised."

    Eh?

  • She was asked about the support they were getting, so it's very standard answer

  • O CMON!!give writers what they want.Evryone wants to see desperate housewives and others!!M

  • in my opinion i dont see y HUGE corperate networks strive to make these writers lives miserable... the writers are just asking for a small piece of the pie- the networks should just give them what they ask for- its not much compared to how much money the networks make off of the shows they write... the writers are the ones having to put their heads together to try to keep these big companies above the surface. and plus u cant just get "new writers" to fill in the positions- these ppl have talent

  • the only "writer" worth their weight is Larry David! all other SAG writers suck! try coming up with something funny that doesn't revolve around sex. i wish you SAG writers would stay on strike.

  • This strike would have been ended the day after it started if the Writers had simply just let me know the addresses of the Studio Executives that refused to make reasonable offers. No one takes away The Daily Show, Colbert Report and Jimmy Kimmel Live, ruin the rest of series Television and doesn't get their ass beat. Even though the strike looks to be over I still would like some addresses. These bastards are going to pay for me missing out of new Losts, Desperate Housewives, Prison Break, ....

  • yeahhhh!!

    I'm with you!!

  • ...if the writers keep this up there gonna get f***ing fired and all the networks are gonna hire new ones!! theres like trillion billion writers out there that just wanna start working!..and i really don't believe their getting pay so little

  • You're right, there are billions of writers out there. But if you think just a little with your tiny brain, you'll see that half of them dont know anything about writing and the rest arent the ones that started the series and know how they're gonna end!

  • well....if u use ur brain, by the way, if compared to mine ur looks like a bacteria...anyway, don't be naive sitcom and soaps are never finished OK!, only the pilots are, series like sienfeld and friends and all the great ones are are written by seasons...so get the facts before u talk, increiblñe that as such a "big couch potato" u are..u didn't no this =D

  • The f****ing bastards that dont pay the little guy what he deserves are the ones that have to take the blame for me and trillions of people loosing there favorite series our seeing them just go down hill because they're trying to get a nice quick ending for them...

  • you fucken idiots.. if only you knew where your writers are getting their content from..

    tsk tsk.

  • Good luck writers! I hope you guys get paid for the content you create. It's only fair. I wish the public would do their small part by contacting the networks to let them know what they are doing is wrong - I did.

  • Sounds like a bunch of writers posting....

  • i support them, im studyin to make movies and i would like to be pay worth enough for my work

  • Wish they would give them what they want already !! They've completely ruined the Scrubs finale !!

  • yeh you tell em grantclooney...you...you tell em...

  • Mr. Ben Stiller is a bit of a hypocrite. I am a striking writer and have personally seen him drive right through our picket line TWICE. He smiled and offered a sheepish little wave as he continued to drive onto the Warner Brothers lot, presumably to make another terrible movie. Shame, shame Mr. Stiller.

  • Don't knock the Stiller man !! He works on films NOT TV !!

  • Um, feature film writers are on strike, as well. The WGA covers both tv and film writers. And I saw him cross again last week, so he he's a triple hypocrite. He has a nice Mercedes, though. Black. Like his heart.

  • Better idea!!! Writers, give up your salary when there is a loss in profits!!! Oh...thats never gonna happen. Why not just step aside and let non-union writers take over. Oh...are you afraid some original stories get written. There are plenty of great non-union writers out there.

  • do u even know why they are on strike? good god, dun sound so naive.

the writers are suffering enough. and im actually proud that the movie stars are standing up for them. they dont get paid for internet use, not for any dvd or soundbite, advertisement and stuff...how is that fair

  • raaah!

    anger!

  • F U C K H O L L Y W O O D ! I never seen a more obnoxious bunch of people...

  • ...excepting present comany, of course...

  • aww i wasnt striking that day. next time!

  • i support the writers strike!! but i just wish they dont cancel GossipGirl becuz of this strike ! =\

  • i fully support the writers, but i hope that this is resolved by several weeks ago :-)

  • This is why I would never get involved in the Hollywood/Entertainment industry! This is madness.

  • I Love what sarahs signs say :D

  • regardless of what happens, my hope is that the people who write for mtv (and others) receive some waterboarding experience prior to resuming their writing duties. this form of soul cleansing is needed.

  • why don't these bastards just pool thier fortunes together and start their own Studio's. That way the "Big exec's" won't have anything, and they will literally Crumble.. makes sense to me.

  • without writers we have nothing to say" ? what? wheres their artistic creativity? talent? man, this brings alot of info to the surface. I think hollywood deserves this, and In my heart I hope it falls. I wouldn't miss hollywood. They make us think we would. But we won't.

  • I agree

  • There is one question that just doesn't get an answer. If the writers get residuals(Sorry if I misspelled) what happens when a show looses money. Do the writers pay out of their pockets too? Oh no, they just get payed either way. It's simple. You want the profits, produce, otherwise shut the fuck up!

  • what are you talking about???

writers get paid NOTHING compared to producers and actors, and they were the ones who created everything. they wrote the freaking show or movie or anything else.

writers pay for their own everything. they have to pay to get a producer to even read their scripts, they spend hours, weeks, years, etc., writing stuff while producers sell their ideas over the internet.

  • If you're gonna use SNL as a tag, you could at least spell Andy SAMberg right. He's only an Emmy winner [for writing "Dick in a Box"].

    Way to get the scoop.

  • i wish the americans working 2 jobs to be broke flippin burgers will do this someday too..

  • Solidarity is the only way. Time for the workers to get together across trades and UNITE!

  • WORKERS OF THE WORLD UNITE

  • This is hilarious...I mean the signs. Ya no, there wouldn't be a show without the writers! This is ridiculous too...why wont they just give up and agree with the writers?

  • Who ever owns the copyright to what ever is written holds the key. Maybe the Writers Guild should look into this major part of their carriers.

  • You didn't even make sense there buddy.

Internet is the way it's going, and they're not going to be able to make any money off of that even though everyone else is.h I mean, do you know how much they're making off of their shows being on the internet? $0.00. Nice paycheck.

  • ok

    sarah silverman is awesome!!

and also these people have a reason to strike

i mean NBC is giving away the episode on the internet for FREE!!

its not right and some of my favorite tv shows are closed down because of it

    GO WRITERS!!!

  • the studio heads need a proverbial horses head in their proverbial beds. otherwise nothing good will come from this.

  • I hope this makes Hollywood crumble and dissapear.

  • I want to say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to the writers, actors and producers of shows like I LOVE LUCY, MASH, TAXI, CHEERS, FRASIER, RAYMOND, FRIENDS, ROSEANNE, THE BILL COSBY SHOW, 90210, MELROSE PLACE, THE FUGITIVE, ELLERY QUINN, MATLOCK, PARTY OF FIVE, GOLDEN GIRLS and so many more for keeping me happy during stressfull times and inspiring me to become a writer myself and provide the same love and comfort.

  • I can't read any more of these ignorant posts. One is talking about Hitler and the Jews(how's that related to artists getting ripped off?) the other's talking about firemen deserving to be paid for life for saving our lives (another excuse for not paying the writers).

I want to say that good writers save lives too. I'll never forget how during the darkest period of my life television was my only way out.

  • Sarah Silverman is so fucking hot i wish i can fucker

  • did u even get the meaning of this video??

  • STOP WRITING SCREENPLAYS AND START WRITING LAWSUITS

Check out TITLE 17 (Copyright Act) and TITLE 18 (R.I.C.O Act, the law made especially for the Mafia) KNOW YOUR RIGHTS

It's time for the Hollywood Mafia to go home.

  • Big celebrity who the fuck is this bitch! shut the fuck up. Ive seen her on 2 bloody videos now. I hate her voice! Jebus....

  • Well, actually, she is...

Just because you've only seen her on two videos, just shows that you obviously don't watch very much television.

She's basically one of Comedy Central's funniest stars with a HIT show.

  • Good job, Hollyscoop! Stay strong, WGA!

  • That's academic.

But the result is the same; poor quality television.

I'm not giving producers a break here by no means. But I refuse to side with the writers, especially when they knowingly put out crap to appease producers.

A paradigm shift is needed on all fronts.

  • Wheres Paula ?

  • I think it would be important to note that most likely, the studios are employing people to post negative comments on videos, articles, and pro-WGA sites such as these, in an effort to present an opposing point of view, and propagate the false notion that people are altogether divided in their support of the strike. Just something to remember.

  • The WGA is leading greedy writers down the road followed by steel, textile, airline, and automobile union workers. When you fight to bring down the industry that provides your job, you are destined to lose by winning. Notice how the writers take advantage of the free internet sites like YouTube to voice the supposed injustice of not being paid for videos played on YouTube. Producers please do not give into these fools.

  • You're kidding, right? (A) They are not "fighting to bring down the industry," but simply fighting for fair pay for work. (B) The YouTube comment is a non sequitur. No one is making profit from these protest videos except maybe YouTube. The writers are asking for a percentage of profits made from their work. How is that "greedy"?

  • well i hope pple go out and seek other forms of entertainment, like; going to live events and getting away from the pc and tv. Family's are becoming strangers with a t.v. in each room. I know u need writers for plays and so on, but it's better than living a boring predictable life in front of the t.v.

  • writers make good signs

  • I can't sympathize for these writers. Their scripts are predictable and very, very whitebread.

Stereotypes are the stock and trade of these writers. They routinely misrepresent minorities and draw a picture of a one-dimensional world.

Fire them all and hire a new crop.

  • This day and age people are more into television and movies more than ever, so the writers must be doing something right. The bottom line is if they're were'nt any actors to play the stereo-typical roles, and writers to be brave enough to use the lines, comedy especially would not be the same. Theres a stereo type for every single person and i like the idea of teaching our kids to laugh about the things that are ridiculous, so as not to take it to heart. GO WRITERS!!!

  • I'm not buying that at all. If dumbing down makes one a good writer..

I'd like to see the diversity record of the writer's guild. Is the playing field equal within their ranks? Do they exercise fairness in house?

The producers should do a massive hiring of new writers. Writers who will elevate the quality of television content.

  • "Hitler hated artists too"? UM...I hate to break it to you, you looney left wing nuts, but Hitler WAS AN ARTIST!!! Before getting on the national socialist (NAZI) train and becoming who he became.

  • Hitler has a very narrow spectrum of what he considered good art. He liked classical art, but hated modern art. He stubbed all the world trends in art at the time such as expressionism, surrealism, cubism, impressionism, and modernism, branding it 'degenerative art' and portrayed these art movements in a very negative light and against what the ideals of what the national socialists stood for.

  • These writers make so much money, and say the shows would never be without them. The shows would also never be without the sound and lighting crew, and most importantly without the ACTORS! And I don't like the fact that producers make such huge amounts of money, but they do take all the financial risks, and in the world of TV, it's very hard for a show to succeed and achieve a prime time slot. So if the writers want more money they should start putting it upfront and be part of the investment.

  • I take issue with you labeling the people on strike as 'left wing loons'. What exactly is so looney about wanting a adequate wage? These people of exercising their democratic right to strike. It's the only way they can effectively bring about change.

  • Because Hitler wanted an adequate wage for his fellow left wing nutjobs during the depression that enveloped most of the industrialised world. Then he decided it would be fun to have his gang of socialists to rob from the rich jews and give to the poor. Then when more and more people jumped on the train he had such a huge following that he changed the laws and eventually became the Robin Hood of his day. The same shit happened to other left wing nut jobs, like Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Castro.

  • Your mixing up socialism with authoritarianism/facism. Hitler wasn't bad because he was socialist, he was bad because he enforced control through the use of oppressive measures, motivated by racism, xenophobia and antisemitism, he harboured such beliefs before he gained power.

  • You can be liberal and left wing, look at Gandhi or Hugo Chavez for example. If someone has socialist ideals, it doesn't mean they are therefore facist or become so after gaining power. The major issue in the United States is its very authoritarian right wing, where the balance of power and influence is too much in the hands of the market and not the people. Such a position is undemocratic.

  • Here's a suggestion, why don't the actors themselves write their own shows or hire some scabazz writers to write their shows since its SO important we have mindnumbing TV. Boycott TV, the war and gas. (ride a bike)

  • its prob for the best ppl shouldnt sit on thur asses and watch bs from a tube by thur wall. Independent media is where its at. uncensored, free, no spin and bs. dont watch tv go out and do something productive, americans watch average of 6 hours of tv a day.

  • DOWN WITH HOLLYWOOD. WRITERS SUCK. Build a water park.

  • you hate the coverage this issue is getting, yet you have commented who-knows-how-many times on this strike-related video. why don't you take your own advice and go deal with "real" issues?

  • The real issue is getting commented. People will not fall apart without the writers behind those dumb pencils. I have heard those whining actors say many of times.

Ha ha ha. OMG!!!! GET A CLUE LOSERS on the street. The public needs real jobs in america. Not idiots like the writers. The steel workers, the REAL UNION JOBS.

  • These actors are sad, they babble on and sound crazy. They need someone to write something for them now on the picket line. Those poor millionaires!!

  • Pay 'em their money. Reality TV sucks.

  • Don't pay them a penny. They are losers.

  • Some of us just like to be entertained. It helps us get through the day. It helps us forget that we have a sick family member for just a couple hours. It helps us feel a little less lonely. It helps us better cope with the real world, which is oftentimes mundane, sad, or even downright scary. And the people who create that entertainment, whether it's something you like or something another human being likes, deserves to be compensated fairly for it if people are consuming it.

  • I agree. I'll paraphrase what I said over on "The Office is Closed" video-

Basically, those who say that the writers live comfortably, so why should they want more money would be like a boss telling an employee, "You've increased business sales, business is flourishing, but since you're living comfortably on this salary, I'm not going to give you a raise. You're fine with that aren't you?"

  • wow- so well put!

  • There's a lot of crap out there, but in general I don't think TV has ever been better than it is right now. Art is important to our culture and our society -- it always has been and it hopefully always will be. Without writing, we'd be an illiterate society. Who wants to learn to read via a science textbook or a phone book? We'd also, sadly, be an uncreative society.

  • If you have a union job, you have a right to strike for more pay... whether you're a nurse, a teacher, a factory worker, or a writer. Even if you think it's crap work they're doing, if people want to watch what they're creating, they have a right to some of the profits made by these huge corporations. Just because you hate a sofa, does that mean that the person who made that sofa doesn't deserve to be paid when someone who LIKES the sofa buys it?

  • I find it absolutely hilarious that people in the minority expect the majority to be like them.

If you want to watch Disney movies and wholesome classics, I fully support that. You have every right to do that and your children will hopefully grow up happy and healthy. But if someone wants to go watch a movie WITHOUT their child, how on earth can you say they don't have that right? How on earth can you dictate what another adult can do with his or her time?

  • The big dogs in the industry are so wealthy that they don't have to give a shit. They'll just show reruns and enjoy their billions in the bank.

  • Best interview yet! Keep up the great work Brian. P.S. I'm voting almost everyday...

  • WEll vote from my theme park in Hollywood.

  • Well, I realize this topic's gotten entirely off-point (sorry, partly my fault). Back to the subject: writers guild is on strike until they get their proper dues. All power to them so they can continue to do the job they love for the credit they deserve.

  • More power to the writers that can have wholesome entertainment without bad words, violence, and the creative artist? throwing a whanker on a cover of childrens movies, sexual situations.

  • what? who cares if there are bad words. if you don't like it, don't watch it.

  • Exactly who care if they are using bad words. That is why we have people that are "trashy" and people that are respectable

  • right you baby. Make Hollywood into a splash park with skate board ramps, rollarblade park. Continous bubble machines. SCREW YOU WRITERS. Thats right who cares about the bad words. lol I say!! THEME PARK!!

  • who cares about that shit. the writers are taking money from my family im laid off because of those assholes there not going to make me more money there only making me poor

  • Making you poor? GET ANOTHER JOB>

  • i understand that you are a student, a mother, and has a husband in Iraq. However, the war is the governments problem. and its not like the war is being ignored. this is just something that's new that is here at home. just because there is a war, doesn't mean we ignore all the other problems here at home. yes, we don't need TV to survive, but we're not going to just get rid of it all together. the problem is between the writers and the corporations. it has nothing to do with the war.

  • "However, the war is the governments problem"..thats sad.I agree, just because there is a war doesnt mean we should ignore problems at home. But I really dont think this should be a major problem shown in the media here at home. This story is getting major coverage over stories that actually have substance and matter.People should be more interested in healthcare, global warming, and soldiers without equipment in Iraq, etc; Not the fact that.."OMG! we have to watch RERUNS!" what ever shall we do!?

  • it's getting so much coverage bc the people that own news stations are involved in the strike. it's pretty simple.

  • BLAH BLAH I am off to work again to my real job to save lives. Yes another fulfilling day in real life.

  • Wow..so these stupid hollywood brats are feeling what the majority of americans are feeling?? I'm a student, a mother and a wife...and my family lives pay check to paycheck...do you know what my husband does for a living?? He risks his life in Iraq everyday...do you think the soldiers should get paid more than these writers and actors?? ...AMERICA...Strike the Writers Strike....READ A FUCKING BOOK! We don't need TV to SURVIVE!!!

    *Proud Army Wife*

  • Right ON!!!!!!!!!!!Proud supporter of not sending my babies to WAR!!!

BOO HOO writers and actors. Suck it up!! I get sick of going to movies and being disappointed with your crap.

  • thank you, finally someone sees my point

  • the point is that writers DO ALREADY feel what other americans are feeling. a lot of the writers *are poor to begin with*, the POINT is that they're out there to help the rich writers AND the (mostly) poor writers. as for your bragging about your soldier husband: i hope he comes home safe to you and all, but stop bragging. it's not something to brag about. it makes you look small.

  • wow..what a rude thing to say, im not bragging...and i cant even believe you would think i'm bragging that my husbands overseas. My point was that I really dont feel bad for these "poor" writers when there are more important things going on. I would rather be poor, living on the street if it could bring our families home. And as for you wishing him home safe...thanks, but we don't need your "hopeful" words if you're just going to insult me.

  • secondly...i dont give a shit that they are striking for more money, more power to em. But I am upset at all the attention they are getting on the media, you have to agree that on most news channels the top news story has something to do with "hollywood", I just we could watch news that matters. Not sit through 10 min. of crap just to watch 2 min. of whats actually going on in the world.

  • i'm not insulting you. i'm just saying you use every chance you get to talk about your husband in iraq. when you do that, it looks like bragging, and a lot of army wives do that. it's like they think they're better than everyone else bc their husbands are in iraq. and you don't need to quote the word "hopeful", bc i sincerely do hope he comes home. i don't want anyone else to die or be hurt by this war, including your family.

  • oh please, you did insult me. If I were to have said everything I said the first time, with no mention of my husband, you and other people would then bash me for not knowing what I'm talking about. So either way people are disrespectful..but hey, say all you want...i'm done looking at this video and all its comments...peace out, im done.

  • go to cafepress and search for nick counter's spec sucked

  • tony....hmm, maybe we should implement that...maybe then the sympathy will be on our side...quick fugbo, report to the high commander, we must stage a fake lynching of a studio executive and a whole bunch of violence as well as one of the writers uttering a racist slur. This will sure do it.

  • fugbo. I agree. Send it to the upper executives right away. I have a team ready now.

  • let's outsource the writing to India. problem solved.

  • No Burning cars....No racist Posters....no Insulting Banners....No "Silence!, I kill You!" Fliers.....I mean...these people do not have a clue on STRIKING.

I love Sarah Silverman, she is beauty all the way.

  • R U Serious? She is out in public acting like she is on crack?

  • i hate her shes not funny and her material has been done before looks arent everything. britneys got more talent in her little finger then shes got in her whole body.

  • Long Live Hollywood and the Jew. S. A.!!!!

  • Yes ben, we will all find out what we are missing. blah blah. How about this we turn off our TV's and don't go to the movies and you all go broke.

I hope one of you writers can make toys for christmas we need american toys, products that you can trust.

  • She drops the F bomb. Did she not know that it would be all over? Is this who we want to follow into the future? Ok I don't understand what is funny about the way he is dressed. So Is he saying 90% of blue jean wearing americans don't make money? I don't get the clothes thing? I don't get the dirty sign thing. I don't get it.

  • The "F Bomb?" Do you mean Fuck? Are you 12? Stop giving power to these stupid words. It-who-must-not-be-said.

  • Ok, Tell that to your children. When they go on the job. I am sorry. Just because you have lowered your standards. I will not. I don't want my kids talking like that. Sorry. No I am 42. So you want your medical staff coming in and asking you. So How the F are you? That is sick.

  • There is a certain thing called "Job Etiquette." And if the customers/patients/whatever feel they are being disrespected, then the provider will lose his/her customers/patients/etc. Again the consumers decide in that situation if they will stand for it. Businesses are allowed to decide what they will tolerate, and that is based on customer satisfaction.

  • Right I see hate on your sign. That what I would figure from people like you. Swearing!!

Hate. Your sister must be a hater?

  • How much is the average writer making a year? It can not be $5,000.00 like someone said in the video. I'd like someone to really find out how much they make and then we can dump on them b/c I have a feeling that they're making pretty good coin....

  • great video

  • Why should I start swearing.

  • writes are the real celebs.

  • david spade is a celebrity? when did that happen?

  • felecity huffman: michigan sucks 14-3 OSU BABY!!!!!!

  • Sarah Silverman is a talentless cunt

  • boooooooo.... Felicity huffman.... Michigan Sux

  • why dont the actors and actresses give a portion of their multi million dollar income to THEIR writers? this would be fair, too.

  • I totally agree! OR why dont these actors give like have their paycheck to soldiers in Iraq who need better equipment...and then what?...these actors would have to have one less big screen tv in their house right!? what a tragedy...lol

  • Sarah Silverman..... not funnnnnyyyyyy... borrrrrrriiiinnggggg...

  • The writers should get a decent cut from what they write. Just like a composer of a song gets a cut(excluding pirating) each time it's played, a writer for the idiot box should get a cut.

  • wish i knew who that was making the todd bridges comment; he was funny. sarah silverman and kathy griffin steal the show.

  • Shut it...

  • I find it a little bit hard to sympathize when I see them getting this involved to be honest. How many other times have you seen this level of participation in something that affects anything other than their paychecks? I am all for them getting what they deserve but I would like to see them care this much about things that actually matter. I hope they strike forever..lol...people watch too much tv anyways.

  • their paychecks affect them and their families. they cant support themselves on such a low paycheck. and a business that makes BILLIONS of dollars is capable of paying them more than what they're paying them now. it's ridiculous. it affects more than just them and it does matter.

  • Bravo!!!!

Bow bow, Hat flying in the air. Two cheek kiss for that!!! OMG!! Yes great comment!!

And who is this potty mouth talking on this video anyways.

  • "I hope they strike forever..lol...people watch too much tv anyways." that was funny LOL...

  • I absolutely agree with you...there are so many more issues to be concerned about in this country.

  • Writing is hard. Writers should get paid a lot more than they do right now. If we had no writers, there would be no actors, no movies, no tv, no entertainment. And writing is not just a hobby, it is a career. Even if the movie makes a lot of money, what do the writers get? NOTHING. Give them what they deserve!!!

  • Are u kidding. Again my perfect example is Transformers. THEY WROTE IN MASTERBATE TO A MOVIE. That writer should not get paid for being a pervert. Writing crap in to harm the younger generations minds. OH sure How much should we give him? That was hard work. And I feel that was just sick. They ruined that movie. And the producers all sat and listened to that? OMG And the Actors shame shame on you all.

  • How is this the actors fault? So what if the writers wrote that into Transformers? That was ONE line. They can write whatever they want but they should get a decent amount for writing an entire movie.

I can clearly see you are against all this based on all of your comments. Put yourself into a writer's shoes. Wouldn't you want money for writing a movie or tv episode?

  • Well If I was a actor. I wouldn't say that kind of stuff on the big screen. Actors need to say. "My kids might see this?" eeek can we change that? Your saying just one line. Its not just one line. It morals. Take a stand and respect the young minds. So your saying forget what they write just give them money for everything? I know you are very passionate. I can tell you don't hate the younger generation that much?

  • If we want to protect the younger generation, then don't let them see the movie. The parents should be in charge of that. It's their problem, not the writers.

People go to college and take classes because it is their dream and passion to become a writer. They love writing and I doubt they want to give their dream and years of studying up. All they're asking is something for the work they make for millions of people.

  • So you are saying we have to protect our children from the writers. OK. This is my point Thank You Benstillerfan65. The writers should not be paid for something you have to protect your children against. Do you make toys from China to? If the writers wrote something good. Everyone should be able to see it. And Don't forget parents. With benstillerfans65 thought. Don't buy toys either. No movies and no Toys. Nice.

  • That's not what I'm saying. Writers make movies for some people and movies for everyone. If adults see the same thing kids do, they will get bored out of their minds. That's why writers want to make movies for adults too. Why should kids get the only good entertainment? What I am trying to say is that the parents are the ones who decide what their children watch. Not the writers. If they want them to watch adult movies, fine. Whatever. But it's not the writers' problem.

  • Good Entertainment is what I guess we are hitting heads about. So you are bored in movies. When they don't put dirty words into them? Or if they are not having sex in call rooms. elevators wherever. So you think america is like monkeys? Drooling to see sex/violence/bad talk. And we are dying to see yet another woman having a baby. ha ha ha I guess I am going to watch the kids movies. Thank God for Disney.

  • Great, so if I'm not successful right away, I just spent thousands of dollars going to college for a hobby. Just what I wanted! If writers were to write everything safe and nothing controversial, there would be no one to view or read the work. Writing as a hobby is fine, screen writing for a hobby is fine as long as you don't want to get any further than youtube. Screen writing is meant to be viewed, however. And there are parental advisories for a reason. Look into that.

  • If you notice. The movies that are for the whole family do better. Disney I don't know if you heard of them can be viewed by the WHOLE FAMILY!! I think I am not sure. DISNEY makes alot of money$ Maybe you should check that company and take notes.

  • Maybe you should check out your "Little Mermaid" box and then hide that away since there's a cute little wang on the front cover (yes, there is). Maybe you shouldn't let them know what "Twitterpating" is or see "Bambi" because his mom gets shot. Good ol' Walt was a dirty man.
