Very special to know your mom won a car, and it is now classic to see these episodes with all these people. I always wonder where a lot of them are today. I miss the old days of TPIR with Johnny Olsen and the original music. The new show really stinks, and I dont like Drew or his way or mumbling the games off with no excitement.
This episode was #0032, aired September 19, 1972...and the debut of Double Bullseye (the game your mother played, which was only used four or five times altogether). What you've got here is something...well, rather rare. Rarer than I could possibly stress.
Do you just have this segment, or the whole episode? Personally, I'd like to see the whole show, or at least how your mother did in the Showcase.
@zachhoran Must've been the tape date because double bullseye did not debut until Sept 19. This must also have been one of the earliest playings of the game as Bob did not give the contestants the $500 range as he did on the only other playing of this game I have seen.
@GSNSmashFan3 The third game that day, Double Prices, was played for a fur coat....and #0032D is NOT among the huge group of studio masters from Seasons 1-3 that began circulating a few years ago.
This was a treat to see. I especially like her sudden excitement even after they start the win music, which I realize was not yet familiar as the win music one week into the series. Thank you for uploading this!
Back to Back one bids. That is rare!!!

@Hummingbirds2009 Thanks, unfortunately she passed away in 1983. It is the only video I have of her. Make it a great day !!!!

this was the 2 player Bullseye game, one of only a couple of playings of it. i think you can see why it was retired so quickly.

It would have aired the 9th, as that was a Saturday. Maybe it taped on the 9th.

Most of the shows from 1972 did indeed *tape* on Saturday, as well as perhaps Sunday and Monday. Studio 33 was a very busy place back then!
