@Mr2002MustangGT at that point they were tinted with film. but i had my buddy spray my tails after that point. the film cause the reflective material inside the housing top come off...

most all 32v fords blow white smoke like that when you rev them with no load on them.

reason being is ford builds them a little lose so that when the oil psi goes up it wont hurt the internals. mostly where the heads meet the block (head gasket) and so it don't murder the plastic timing chain guides. It's also helps to give the timeing chain time to get tight instead of breaking a tooth on the passenger side lower cam gear.

well you can find them in the teens with around 40k miles. the pipes, it would depend where you get them from. but it about 450 for the cat back.

So far I have stock exhaust on my 99 gt with the exception of cutting the mufflers and replacing them with straight pipes. I'm hoping on adding the slp catted x-pipe to replace the stock h-pipe here soon. Anyone have any input on the combo? Slp catted x with the stock cat back without mufflers.

I had the same setup! SLP LM1s + Bassani O/R X-pipe. It was loud, but when I got my GT supercharged it sounded much better. The pulses were more pronounced and it didn't have that annoying warble at low rpms.
