Nano is the female form of Nanda, which as emphasis to a sentence. Desu means 'it is' and adds emphasis to a confirmation, as well as being widely used at the end of sentences by young girls to be cute.

So, it 'means' to add stress and emphasis to a sentence (typically in a cute way).

Also, this song is surprisingly addictive, got to love Hanyuu. Hau~au~

Desu is just a particle at the end of a sentence to mean confirmation, it's equally used by males and females, I don't think it has a cute factor when used by younger girls. It's just typically more formal to use it in normal speech, which makes sense for a goddess/guardian angel/whatever Hanyuu is to use.

Not trying to cause an argument, just stating what I've noticed in Japanese speech.
