yeah, the healing process is my favorite album. i first heard them in 2005 and that album made me fall in love.

it sort of seems like they keep getting faster and faster. but they're amazing at what they do, no doubt.

what!? it's two completely different styles of metal! Pantera pioneered speed, groove & agressive metal in the early 90's, Despised Icon are pretty much one of the first bands to combine Death Metal & Hardcore with elements of Grindcore. I hate people labeling bands, but this is what these two bands are, why people are saying these things I have no idea!! both are great though!

oh yeah of course they are, but that's because Despised Icon are a death metal band & Pantera weren't. DI are great but Pantera as a band & as individuals have done so much more for music than DI could ever imagine doing & I'm sure they listened to Pantera when they were coming up.
