True, in isolation the US national debt looks large, but it's actually relatively small compared to the GDP. There's a lot of room for improvement to be sure, but if you're earning a million dollars PER YEAR, and have a total debt of 900 000 you're not doing so badly.

ChrisESP, Too true on the scripts outside the US. Last year I took a trip to Mexico and was able to buy 480 Penicillin tablets at 500 Mg. for $28.00! And no script needed!
So... if NO script or doctor visit is needed in Mexico to get many of these scripts, whey do WE in the U.S. have to fork out the money to do it here?
..I mean really, if you get an infection or what-ever, why can't WE get some antibiotics HERE in the U.S. for under $30.00 & NOT spend $150.00 for Doc and script?

I read many stories where reporters have gone to places like Vietnam, Iraq (even letters from soldiers in Iraq) and they made stories to try to open peoples eyes about what they didn't know. (keep in mind these are Americans) They came back to try to pass these stories on and either lost their jobs or got silenced. The soldiers story never made to the publics eyes. Only through internet.

Many students who write about Harvard said the education is nothing special. The best thing about Harvard is Political connections and of course the name itself. I think what everyone fails to realize is that socialism in america is nothing new. We share the cost of roads, law enforcement, military, education, etc. through taxes....so to say that socialism is coming is wrong, socialism has been apart of America for a long time.
