At least here in Southern California in our local drag race tracks . There is fear in racing any super aspirated air cooled VWs as these awesome cars spank V8s and any rice burners and make them cry. They sure are fast ! fast ! fast !

Ferdinand Porsche was working on a Kleinauto way before Hitler became Fuhrer and established the RAD. Hitler just pushed for the car to be made cheap, and affordable for the common working man. So if you want to thank someone thank Mr. Porsche. Read the book (Small Wonder)

I have to disagree with "dilleydean" Drag racing is alot of fun and has huge competition. Its your opinion so i'm not gonna telll you your wrong. On another note if it takes 30secs to run a 1/4 mile, you need a way better car.
