I can't imagine when/where the counter/digits got inserted, but, obviously, such technology did not exist at the time the *film* was made. *FILM*. Although I'm in favor of competition, MoTown screwed us right into the ground with the crap they produced in the '70s. Nevermind the big cars, the stuff they produced to compete with Japan was *crap*. And while Detroit was hemorrhaging, they fired a LOT of good, talented people.
