I've got the same camera and it can be a nightmare for video (brilliant quality though).
After ages of messing around with the files and trying to get something to convert them I've found that the video files will only work if you import them straight from the memory card into the program :/
In iMovie it only works if you click import and import any clips in that window. If you take the clips from the memory stick first they wont open at all :/
I´ve got the same one, and its quite good in low Light
but will it blend?
