ya man, the board should be just an object and how ever you move the sticks, the board will do that and while its spinning you have to catch it... so then its much easier to mess up like real life skateboarding and then technically you can create your own tricks too.

You do know that this is only what they have so far right? They're still going to put alot more detail into it and this barely looks like skate 2. More tricks, new story, new city, more games to play online, and alot more things to do (such as making your own skate parks, team, and company).

if skate 3 is gunna be any good they need to focus on improving ANIMATIONS of tricks and overall GRAPHICS. skate 2 was awful compared to skate 1 in terms of how it looked. You dont need a 60 fps either. They better not fuck it up. EA generally seem to just churn out a game every year for most franchises. They should spend more time developing and make a better game.

No way dude. Skate 1 only seems to have better graphics because of its grainy quality camera and slowed down frame rate. I played it recently after playing Skate 2, and the animation was slightly less realistic, you go a little to fast, and the flip tricks are easier. They're both awesome games though.

I really love the EA.skate games. They capture the real way skateboarding should be. Not retardedly impossible tricks or super long combo lines. Skating at it's purest more realistic form. The team skating is a nice addition. I just hope EA doesn't stray away from what skaing is all about.
