Well I was 11 when this movie first came out, I'm 17 now and I've seen all his work. Never disappointed. Hell, I even saw Grindhouse in theaters and it was the only way to watch it. I've seen him destroy that critic and talk about it in another interview, it was very funny. Pulp Fiction is his finest film though. You should watch the films he was influenced by as well, Bonnie and Clyde, Breathless, Rififi, One Armed Swordsman, The Killer, Mean Streets, Taxi Driver, The Good the Bad and the ugly

it does have a good story with awesome dialogue (QT's a great writer!), but there is a lot of action and blood. vol. 2 on the other hand is completely different, it calms a bit on the action and has a LOT more story (hard to believe they were suppose to be 1 film). you should definitely check them out, they're great movies.
