  • Thank you so much! I just bought my Move starter set, and other than my newly unwrapped USB wire making my camera turn to the right side, it works like a charm. Great tip! :D

  • Doesnt work on TVs with thin bezels. Unless you want the camera to encroach on the TV's viewing area.

  • doesn't work on mine, the wire is to rigid and gay

  • Doesnt work.

  • Thank you SO much for this! Saved me some money. =)

  • can we use the eye camera for skype in ps3 plz hlp me before i get it

  • @yasir734 and will i also have to get a head set for it

  • @yasir734 Yep. There is a driver available that will make it work for the PC. Just do some googling =)

  • omfg iam glad i found this video. i just bought move and was about to use a nailgun to get it stuck on my tv.

    Thanks!

  • @Flexcat010 yeah, bet your tv was even more glad :)

  • Have had it set up like this since launch. Must be some special SONY magic because it's still there xD

  • It doesn't work on LED tv's?

  • Awesome!!! Thanks for this video, really helpful!!!

  • Was about to spend $5-10 on a clip via Amazon and one of the comments on the item had a link for this very video, so now I've saved money as a result! I have the same series TV as in the video, so it's hanging there with no problem.

  • THANK YOU. It is positioned perfectly. You just saved me about $10-$30 to buy a mount

  • Thank you. You just saved me about $10 to buy a mount

  • My tv is wall mounted and the cable wont reach the top of the tv, i have to sit it on top of my couch just below my TV, havent had a chance to try it out yet, does anyone know if this will work?

  • doesnt work with my TV for some reason it just falls in front of my TV :S

  • Why isn't the playstation eye camera wireless.

or why doesn't sony have at least 1 USB port in the back of the PS3.

Besides people who purchased their PS3 at Launch a lot of people only have 2 USB ports in the front. I think its stupid having a cable coming around to the front of your PS3

  • @gohanrage Wireless video transfer is slow (even if it was Bluetooth) there would be lag of some seconds. This is only an issue with devices that have to recognize shapes. This isn't a problem with a typical video camera.

  • Wow. So simple. It works well with my Samsung LED TV. Thanks for the tip.

  • Thanks for your video! I just bought the PS3 move and I was worried about this issue...I was ready to spend some more money on a clip...thanks to your video; I'm saving money! Thanks again!

  • Thanks So Much!!

  • Great tip !

  • This trick is a lifesaver :) I literally taped my whole TV trying to get it attached but failed. Why didn't I think of this earlier :))?

  • hey man, im look to buy a PS3 move setup(eye, controller, and disk, etc) but i have one of the older models not the first one to come out ,but the later ones, and i was woundering if it will still work..

  • @Kyle6347 google?

  • Thanks, I was wondering if this works well with the Michael Jackson game..?

  • thank you soo much dude

  • you saved me 15 bucks! AWESOME!!!! BTW the two people who dislikes this video, im pretty sure they already bought the mount clip for ps eye. LOL

  • i was just leaving it in front of my t.v. cause it was staying on top..gonna try it today

  • thanks for this. You should say to make sure people turn the base so that the flat part is facing the TV... I know this seems obvious, but I know people who were not doing that. This is awesome by the way... I have gotten tired of trying to use the move with the cam in the lower position, which is crappy at best.

  • doesn't really work for me, at least not at a good angle

  • Oh cool you just saved me 10 bucks!

  • How is this a surprise to anyone? This was the first thing I did after unboxing. Good video for dummies I suppose.

  • Gonna do this tonight.

Makes me wonder if they thought of that but forgot to advertise it as the base of the camera has that small flat part in the circle.

  • thx only just pul the can so that it stays there :)

  • DUDE TNX

  • Thank you so much. THIS kind of innovative thinking (free, easy, effective) is what our commercial society needs more of when designing products.

  • I was actually about to go buy that mounting clip cuz I wanted to put it above the TV, not below. Thanks.

  • nice video... what if you have a 65" tv and its going to be mounted on the wall.... where would the best spot to put the camera be at?

  • THANKS

  • This actually works, thank you :D

  • genius!

  • THANKS FOR THIS VIDEO!!!!!!! my tv is super flat and i doubt the mounting clip would work cuz its so big the clip XD

  • Why put it on top, when you can also put it in the lower center???

when you play games you are literally in the LOWER CENTER, putting it up there

it is to much of a distraction when you're watching a game or TV.

  • This does not work for my 32" Panasonic HDTV. It also doesn't look very stable. And it's not adjustable either which can be helpful in certain situations.

  • Definitely doing this. And I was going to buy that stand tomorrow. lol

  • doesur camerqa looks blurry when u play games? mine sucks looks like a vga camera does anybody knows why

  • @fastidioso18

PS EYE are not amazing cameras, they are cheap 25-30 dollars, it does the job but it isn't something amazing, you see STATIC/low res on video, as long as the Move light is detected that's all it matters.

  • WOW i was trying to figure out how i would put it on my TV, and your TV is the same as mine. Thx Helped a lot.

  • very simple and very useful! thx :D

  • haha fat tv's for the win

  • Yeah this is what I thought to do... I didn't want to do tape because I have a 5 year old in my house, and this way I can easily just move it down for her, then put it up when I play ;)

  • Thx so much 4 this trick

  • I am new in using the ps move.

whenever i use my eye camera, the blue light is only open/lit (red light is off), even i turn the selector in red. But for sometimes the red light is blinking. is this okay?

  • @rowelltan if the red light is blincking it means the cam can't she youre conroller its out of the field of vision

  • @CallMeCayhan Thanks. actually mine is working properly, even i used it 4meters away from my led tv. the only thing that confusing me is the red light is not working (i mean there is no light everytime i play a ps move game).

  • @rowelltan incase you havent fixed it is it turned to the blue setting right side? it will turn blue the red light means the move controller isn't noticed.

  • Thanks alot!

  • but not all flat screen tv's are made like that... :o(

  • Thanks a ton...i was going to use some 3m velcro, was very hesitant to do so as I dont like the idea of adhesive on my tv...awesome

  • you could also use some small cable ties going through the vents in back to hold the wire in place better.it wont hur the tv and wont be to tacky like taping it lol.

  • wohooo we have the same tv

  • This works and on most TV's too, the Eye sits perfectly fine don't get fooled into buying a clip try this out! My TV now reminds me of HAL from 2001: A Space Odyssey because it's always watching me xD

  • This is brilliant. I was just considering buying some strange clip but this works absolutely fine on my Samsung. Thanks a bunch. You've saved me a lot of time and hassle.

  • My TV is too thin for that t work

  • @NotToImply you got a LED tv?

  • You can get the crown playstation eye camera clip. Much better than what he's showing in the video

  • Thanks
