I believe the strongest relationship, married or unmarried, is when you and your mate agree on a common cultural paradigm. . .that works for them; not necessarily what they've been told is supposed to be right for them. The communication will flow more evenly once the paradigm is understood between you. The "love" you have for one another will not be enough if you are not rooted in that belief system, that paradigm.
