isn't it so easy to disagree with polls when they say you're LOSING? He's always so grumpy and argumentative when things don't go to his liking. Stubborn as our current president. And I have to wonder... whats wrong with fining parents who don't provide healthcare to their children? I think thats a good thing, especially when Obama will make it easier to have it.
I have this feeling that most republicans dont actually know much about reagan past the few talking points that have been repeated since he got this large fanbase.
Even as old as McCain is hes able to cherry pick talking points about Reagan while acting clueless about anything that doesnt suit his needs.
Oh well.
He also mentioned Obama at some point voting to raise taxes on people making 42k. I wonder what thats about. I cant stand when people give you a 1/4th of the picture.
from what i've read and what i understand from it, that vote was on a hmm... i don't remember what they call it, but it's more or less a normal procedure. it doesn't actually raise taxes, kind of like having a clock in the bathroom... you won't use it, but you put it there to fill up space.
I found out the answer, its a referendum that sets the agenda for the year. It does sound like a minor issue and we don't know that he even agreed with 100% of the bill. It is a type of bill that is something the majority agrees to talk about for a 5 year plan it seems. Nothing binding.
Definitely a very loose knot to trust while hanging from a mountain. But thats pretty tight for political campaigns I guess, especially when you are so close to the bottom and have very little left to lose.
THANKS FOR THE INFO. It's a small thing I remember, a non story story.
This is par for the course. However this lie seems tame compared to the tinfoil hats spreading really far out bizarre lies about Obama. If you listen to their rants and raves it is quite scary. It makes McCain supporter Ashley Todd ("B" carved in face hoax nut) look like a well adjusted normal lady.
they talked about that after one of the debates, the one where McCain first mentioned that. the explanation is on one of the fact checking sites online, i think politifact[dot]org or something...

terrible interview. Time for Brokaw to give it up, same with McCain. This was hard to watch.

yes it's much to do about nothing. Yes he voted for a $15 (fifteen) increase on singles making $42k. It didn't affect married income. $15 dollars!

whats funny yet irritating is that they still use joe the plumber even after the media has found him out as a lie.

McCain just admitted to being a "junkie". Do we know the REAL John McCain?
Buttseckslol 3 years ago 3
Not only is he a "junkie," but he's also associated with known criminals. In fact, he's voted with them 90% of the time, I hear.

Too little too late, stick a pin in him because he is done. Why does he always look like a deer in the headlights?
vidann1 3 years ago
A pin? I thought the phrase was "stick a fork in him, etc".
ah idioms
nhoj39157 3 years ago
No actually I did mean "pin" because that way we could really prove he was alive and breathing instead of a grumpy old man.
