Wow. That takes me back. We were living in Belgrade at the time (happy days) and you couldn't get away from this song on the TV/radio. It has all the catchiness you need for an ESC winner...
They are not together as a group but occasionally a few of the members get together to sing for special occasions. Unfortunately, Hamo (on the left) passed away a few years ago. Luci, (on the right) owns a cafe (Libertina) in Dubrovnik. Djelo, the leader is still very much involved with composing music. Marko (far left) has a jazz bar in Dubrovnik, "Troubadour", and often performs with his sons. (jazz)
Toliko orginalnosti u sebi sadrži svaka njihova pesmica,to jesu prave pesme za ljudku dušu,žao mi je što to ne može i neće moći svako da shvati...5 stars!
licusford, check with Google. It has their history. The gentleman on the left, Hamo, passed away not too long ago, but the one on the right, Luci, still gets together with a couple of the Trubaduri and they sing the old songs. Recently Luci (Capurso), Marko (Breskovic) and Delo (Jusic) were together on Croatian television to honor Delo for all his years in music. (Delo wrote most of the Trubaduri songs.)
I was 16 then, knew nothing of them and NOW I found it. It's as if I have found my long-forgotten youth:((( Any link (German or English) to their history and music???? I LOVE THEM!
ajmeeee koja lipa pismaaaaaaa...Bozee iz koje je ovo godine???svaka cast onome ko je stavija ovaj video na youtube stavljajte jos ovih starijih dobrih stvari!!!!=)
@jaxlarus yep, back then we were the only east european country in the competition, and the juries (!) of the western countries did of what you're accusing us. yugoslavia didn't threaten to leave the show, though. unlike some others do now that they've stopped winning all the time ;)

They sing the songs of troubadours who lived in Dubrovnik (Croatia) hundreds of years ago. They definitely have a unique style.

No. They sing the songs of the troubadours who lived in Dubrovnik, Croatia hundreds of years ago. They have performed in England and Germany, though.

Opus Magister. I love this song too. Excelente, me encanta. Belle chanson.

Awesome! I can't believe that they only scored 8 points!
By the way, I'd like to say to Spektrum69 that we are here to talk about ESC songs and singers, not to say if they are gay or not.
tiebreaker4u 4 years ago 4
I agree, the song's nice.
About the 8 points mystery:
Maybe it's because there was just Yugoslavia back then and not Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, FYR Macedonia and Montenegro...
;)
