I can understand why everyone said that the people were mad at her because she kept lying to the public. But considering her fame and status at the time, it's definitely not easy to just come out and say "I' pregnant before getting married!" Let's be honest, everyone who live in Thailand know exactly how our culture is...most people can't accept the idea of getting pregnant before marriage. She is the one who felt the most pressure and had to make a tough decision.

i just couldn't take it that she lied over and over again...being a star, she should know that her past mistake would come back to haunt her so it was before if she face her problem head on and get over it...she had to flew to the States to hide from everything! In a way, she deserved some peoples cold indifference!!!

Everyone wasn't mad at her because she got pregnant before marriage. It was merely because she kept lying to the public. It would have been much better if you just tell the truth when having the press conference. Nobody's going to hate you for getting pregnant, but you lied again and again. Anyway, your son is such a beautiful boy and I'm sure even though you had made a big mistake by lying in those times, you will make a terrific mother. Be strong khun mam.

@sweetboost21 I invited you to imagin yourself facing huge pressures from all around you, you are not sure which way is the best solution, you need to make the best decision but you don't have much time because the clock is ticking. Every solution means damage to you, people you love, and people who love you in some major ways. Again, the clock is ticking. Wouldn't you wish that you had more time to think about it? I think that's a part of why Khun Mam decided to not disclose it at first.

@skultip If you have read my comment clearly, you would have noticed that I don't hate her. I merely wanted to point out that all the public outcry in those days happened because people who loved her felt deeply betrayed by her. I know she must have faced enormous amount of pressure, but she should have figured out it's not going to make things any better to keep on lying. The first lie, people might forgive her soon enough, but to lie again during the press con, that was kind of stupid.

Actually my colleague here in the US didn't realize that she was pregnant until five months later. She was having her period and everything so she didn't even suspect that she might be having a baby. She was kind of chubby so she thought she was just getting fatter or something. This is not to justify for Mam, just passing on some random facts...

People said "she lied". What if she did NOT lie? I know many women and a handful said they did not know they were pregnant at 5 months. Some even have normal regularity. Seem cruel to leave ZERO possibility that she might be telling the truth. -- Pretty horrible
