    Yes, I think it turned out to be exactly 24", but not very stable.

    I did it four times during the week ending in this recording, and since then I've done it an average of zero times per week.

    It is very difficult to effectively fit in both a lot of strength training and a lot of conditioning, although I usually want to do some of both. However, I prefer conditioning workouts that are shorter and simpler than this, with one or two exercises or a sequence of closely related ones, or I might use loads of exercises but in an unstructured, untimed, unpressured way, but ending up with fairly large oxygen deficits. I rarely repeat the exact same routine.

  • Cheers! But, strangely enough, I'd done exactly the same thing the day before and took longer and felt more knackered then. But the recording went wrong and I bloody-mindedly decided to re-do it the next day - and, surprisingly, had become so habituated to it that I finished faster.

  • well, i ran 6 miles tonight and already DREAD the idea of doing the stairmaster tomorrow.

    i thought about trying the spartan workout out at the gym i frequent, but i didn't want to traumatize the other gym-goers by seeing me have a heart attack and die!
