I think she would make an awesome Cherubino. She has the boyishness, the playfulness etc. that would make the role believeable. It IS after all supposed to be a boy.

This doesn't sound feminine to me... I don't know, perphaps I'm too used to the fact that Cherubino is a soprano role. But it IS too fast. What a shame, I would have been a great performance. Bartoli's renditions are always genuine; in this case, in the wrong direction I think.

Too fast and far too feminine! The breathiness is there, but her voice is too thick-sounding for this aria. It's almost like the rushed pacing is trying to make up for the fact that her voice isn't suited to the piece. von Stade is a far better Cherubino.

This recording is not from Mozart Arias album cos i listen the cd millions time and this version's tempo is faster than cd recording.

What a lively Cherubino...... but I do not think she has the vocal control for the role. Its a little frantic, which I am sure was intetional, however this leads to some off pitch notes.
