This video has completely broken my heart. There is no doubt how much he loved her, and, no doubt how much she loved him. Bless their hearts. And bless your heart for doing this for a friend so that she can forever have Garver's memory. I am sorry for the loss of such a loyal and loving friend. It always hurts. They are forever etched in our hearts. Thank you for sharing this video. <3

I still can't believe that ANYONE would dislike this video. What a wonderful tribute to a beautiful dog that was so obviously loved and cared for! I only wish I could have had a friend do this for me when I was losing my old dogs. There's a white German shepherd at our animal shelter and I just wish I could go get her after seeing this video. Because of allergies and serious medical issues at the moment, I can't have any more house pets and don't believe in letting them run loose.

Nobody is ever a wuss for crying about a beloved pet. Whether it's your own or not. I feel there's nothing wrong with that. The video is lovely made....the bad lighting did not bother me at all!

@tarryhoot Anyone that believes that an animal is not capable of love obviously has never given their love to one as this woman has! I agree with you, I held back the tears until the last few seconds. Absolutely beautiful!

How was this dog put to sleep? Pill injection or what? I hate to have to put your best friend to sleep. I had to put my beagle mix to sleep in late 2008 due to a spine injury, i held her while she died. It still kills me to this day. I have one now that is 13 1/2 and her weeks are numbered. If she has to be PTS I would rather have it done at home, where she is use to and die in peace, not the vet.

Cried so much at this... I will never forget my dog, put to sleep yesterday at only nine years old because of a possible tumor in his liver.

ive had 3 dogs put to sleep. All without me knowing :( i never got to say goodbye to them and i regret it.RIP Packy, Duke and Alex and of course Garver.

@jumping4joy1 Don't beat yourself up. I believe that there are times that you are not supposed to be present at their passing because your beloved pets know that it would be extremely hard on you.

I stumbled on this video again and something struck me about YouTube. There are untold numbers of really beautiful videos that only a few people will ever see. I know there's people who want to post something that will get millions of hits, but there's also a huge number of people who just want to share something, maybe only with themselves.

Thank you for your comment. It's what I always try to tell those who never want to have a dog again because the loss is so painful.

Put our pitbull down after having her for over 13 years. Toughest day of my life. Although she will never be replaced she will always be remembered. Sorry for your loss. A pet can be more than just a pet.
